So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.

弟兄姊妹，我知道你们充满良善，知识全备，能彼此劝导。但我仍放胆写信提醒你们几件事，因为我蒙上帝赐恩，

弟兄姊妹，你们要靠主喜乐！我再把这些事写给你们，对我来说并不麻烦，对你们却有好处。

以下的事情，你们虽然都知道，但我还要再提醒你们：从前上帝把祂的子民从埃及救出来，后来把其中不信的人灭绝了。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，要谨记主耶稣基督的使徒从前给你们的警告。

我觉得应当趁着我还在世的时候提醒你们，激励你们，

在忠心的弟兄西拉的帮助下，我简单地写了这封信劝勉你们，并证明这是上帝真实的恩典。你们务要在这恩典上站稳。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，我现在写给你们的是第二封信。这两封信都是为了提醒你们，激励你们保持真诚的心，

我要尽力使你们在我离世以后仍然常常记得这些事。

亲爱的弟兄姊妹，我一直迫切地想写信跟你们谈谈我们所共享的救恩，但现在我觉得有必要写信劝勉你们竭力护卫一次就完整地交给圣徒的真道。

因此，亲爱的弟兄姊妹，你们既然预先知道了这些事，就应该提防，不要让那些不法之徒用错谬的理论引诱你们，使你们失去原本坚固的立场。

你们忍受短暂的苦难之后，广施恩典、在基督里呼召你们享受祂永远荣耀的上帝必亲自复兴你们，使你们刚强、笃定、坚立。

你们要回想当初的日子，那时你们蒙了光照以后，忍受了各种苦难的煎熬。

你们不要被五花八门的异端邪说勾引了去，因为心中得到力量是靠上帝的恩典，而不是靠饮食上的礼仪，这些礼仪从未使遵守的人受益。

因此我提醒你，要把上帝在我把手按在你身上时赐给你的恩赐充分发挥出来。

你要提醒弟兄姊妹这些事，这样你就是基督耶稣的好仆人，会不断地从你所信的真道和所遵行的美好教导上得到造就。

按照你们所受的教导在祂里面扎根成长，信心坚固，满怀感恩。

这样，众教会在信仰上得到坚固，人数天天都在增加。
