Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

兄弟當黽勉、以明上帝選爾召爾、由是而行、無不得救、

故兄弟更當殷勤、使爾蒙召蒙選之恩、堅定不移、爾若行此、則永不躓蹶、

故望兄弟益加奮勉、孳孳為善、務使爾之聖召恩選、根深秪固、確乎不拔。爾能遵此而行、則永無失足之虞；

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,

My brothers and sisters, try very hard to show that God has appointed you to be saved. Try hard to show that he has chosen you. If you do everything I have just said, you will never trip and fall.

Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.

So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;

You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;

Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like:He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,

He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.

And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a light to me.

He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.

He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge,

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are His,” and,“ Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

“ Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God.

But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.“ And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, will see my face no more.

Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Blessed is the man who does this, And the son of man who lays hold on it; Who keeps from defiling the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.

elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,

He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
