你要拿着这瓶膏油，把油倒在他的头上，说：“耶和华这样说：‘我膏立你作王统治以色列。’然后，你要开门逃跑，不可停留。”

亚哈谢去见约兰，就遇了害，这原是出于神；因为他去到以后，就和约兰一同出去攻击宁示的孙子耶户。这耶户就是耶和华所膏的，为要除灭亚哈家。

“我已经在锡安我的圣山上，立了我的君王。”

“我既然从尘埃中高举了你，立你作我的子民以色列的领袖；然而，你却走耶罗波安的路，使我的子民以色列犯罪，因他们的罪惹我发怒。

仆人住在你拣选的子民中；这些子民很多，多得不能数算。

“我耶和华所膏立的古列，我紧握着他的右手，使列国降服在他面前；我也松开列王的腰带；我使门户在他面前敞开，使城门不得关闭；耶和华对古列这样说：

高升不是从东面来，不是从西面来，也不是旷野来，

耶和华你的神是应当称颂的！他喜悦你，使你坐在以色列的王位上；因为耶和华永远喜爱以色列，所以立你作王，要你秉行公义。”

在那里撒督祭司和拿单先知要膏立他作以色列的王。你们要吹角，说：‘所罗门王万岁！’

这是守望者宣告的裁决，是圣者颁布的决定，好使世人都知道：至高者在世人的国中掌权，他喜欢把国赐给谁，就赐给谁，甚至立最卑微的人执掌国权。

但他心高气傲、妄自尊大的时候，就从国位上被赶下来，他的尊荣也被夺去。他被赶逐，离开人群，他的心变如兽心，他和野驴同住，像牛一样吃草，身体被天露滴湿；等到他承认至高的神在世人的国中掌权，他喜欢谁，就立谁执掌国权。

他改变时间、季节；他废王、立王；他赐智慧给智慧人，赐知识给聪明人。

你去告诉耶罗波安：‘耶和华以色列的神这样说：我从人民中提拔了你，又立了你作治理我的子民以色列的领袖。
