“ All the kings of the nations, All of them, sleep in glory, Everyone in his own house;But you are cast out of your grave Like an abominable branch, Like the garment of those who are slain, Thrust through with a sword, Who go down to the stones of the pit, Like a corpse trodden underfoot.You will not be joined with them in burial, Because you have destroyed your land And slain your people. The brood of evildoers shall never be named.

He shall be buried with the burial of a donkey, Dragged and cast out beyond the gates of Jerusalem.

And at that day the slain of the Lord shall be from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth. They shall not be lamented, or gathered, or buried; they shall become refuse on the ground.

And they went to the king, into the court; but they stored the scroll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the hearing of the king.

Speak,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Even the carcasses of men shall fall as refuse on the open field, Like cuttings after the harvester, And no one shall gather them.’”
