As Jehu entered the gate, she asked,“ Have you come in peace, you Zimri, you murderer of your master?”

Jehu entered the gate below. Jezebel said to him,“ You are just like Zimri. You murdered your master. Have you come here in peace?”

And as Jehu entered the gate, she said,“ Is it peace, you Zimri, murderer of your master?”

When Jehu entered the gate of the palace, she shouted at him,“ Have you come in peace, you murderer? You’re just like Zimri, who murdered his master!”

As Jehu entered the gate, she said,“ Is your intention peace, Zimri, his master’s murderer?”

Then, as Jehu entered at the gate, she said,“ Is it peace, Zimri, murderer of your master?”

And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Is it peace, thou Zimri, thy master’s murderer?

As Jehu entered the gate, she said,“ Do you come in peace, Zimri, killer of your master?”

And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said,[ Had] Zimri peace, who slew his master?

When Jehu came through the gate, she said,“ Is everything all right, Zimri, murderer of his master?”

His servant Zimri, commander of half his chariots, conspired against him while Elah was in Tirzah getting drunk in the house of Arza, who was in charge of the household at Tirzah.In the twenty-seventh year of Judah’s King Asa, Zimri went in and struck Elah down, killing him. Then Zimri became king in his place.When he became king, as soon as he was seated on his throne, Zimri struck down the entire house of Baasha. Now the troops were encamped against Gibbethon of the Philistines.When these troops heard that Zimri had not only conspired but had also struck down the king, then all Israel made Omri, the army commander, king over Israel that very day in the camp.Omri along with all Israel marched up from Gibbethon and besieged Tirzah.When Zimri saw that the city was captured, he entered the citadel of the royal palace and burned it down over himself.
