Then Jehu drew his bow and shot Joram between the shoulders. The arrow pierced his heart and he slumped down in his chariot.

有一人開弓，並不知情，箭恰巧射入以色列王鎧甲的縫裏。王對駕車的說：「我受重傷了，你掉過車來，載我離開戰場！」

「你們忘記神的，要思想這事，免得我把你們撕碎，無人搭救。

他的肚腹正要滿足的時候，神必將猛烈的憤怒降在他身上；他正在吃飯的時候，神要將這憤怒如雨降在他身上。他要躲避鐵的武器，銅弓要將他射透。箭一抽，就從他背上出來，發亮的箭頭從他膽中出來；有驚惶臨到他身上。

罪人雖然作惡百次，倒享長壽；然而我也知道，福樂必臨到敬畏神的人，就是在他面前心存敬畏的人。惡人卻不得福樂，他的日子好像影兒不得長久，因為他不敬畏神。

人正說平安穩定的時候，災禍忽然臨到他們，如同陣痛臨到懷胎的婦人一樣，他們絕逃脫不了。

沒有人能以智慧、聰明、謀略抵擋耶和華。
