他正要充满肚腹的时候，神必将猛烈的忿怒降在他身上；正在他吃饭的时候，要将这忿怒像雨降在他身上。他要躲避铁器；铜弓的箭要将他射透。他把箭一抽，就从他身上出来；发光的箭头从他胆中出来，有惊惶临在他身上。

罪人虽然作恶百次，倒享长久的年日；然而我准知道，敬畏神的，就是在他面前敬畏的人，终久必得福乐。恶人却不得福乐，也不得长久的年日；这年日好像影儿，因他不敬畏神。

人正说“平安稳妥”的时候，灾祸忽然临到他们，如同产难临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

没有人能以智慧、聪明、谋略敌挡耶和华。
