“ Hitch up my chariot,” Joram ordered. And when it was hitched up, Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah rode out, each in his own chariot, to meet Jehu. They met him at the plot of ground that had belonged to Naboth the Jezreelite.

“ Get my chariot ready,” King Joram ordered. When it was ready, he rode out. Ahaziah, the king of Judah, rode out with him. Each of them was in his own chariot. They both went to meet Jehu. They met him at the piece of land that had belonged to Naboth from Jezreel.

Joram said,“ Make ready.” And they made ready his chariot. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah set out, each in his chariot, and went to meet Jehu, and met him at the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.

“ Quick! Get my chariot ready!” King Joram commanded. Then King Joram of Israel and King Ahaziah of Judah rode out in their chariots to meet Jehu. They met him at the plot of land that had belonged to Naboth of Jezreel.

“ Get the chariot ready!” Joram shouted, and they got it ready. Then King Joram of Israel and King Ahaziah of Judah set out, each in his own chariot, and met Jehu at the plot of land of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Then Joram said,“ Get ready.” And they made his chariot ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu and found him on the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Then Joram said,“ Make ready.” And his chariot was made ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot; and they went out to meet Jehu, and met him on the property of Naboth the Jezreelite.

And Joram said, Make ready. And they made ready his chariot. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

“ Harness!” Joram shouted, and they harnessed his chariot. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah set out, each in his own chariot, and met Jehu at the plot of land of Naboth the Jezreelite.

And Joram said, Make ready. And his chariot was made ready. And Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out against Jehu, and met him in the portion of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Jehoram ordered,“ Hitch up my chariot.” When his chariot had been hitched up, King Jehoram of Israel and King Ahaziah of Judah went out in their respective chariots to meet Jehu. They met up with him in the plot of land that had once belonged to Naboth of Jezreel.

Joram said,“ Get ready!” They got his chariot ready. Then Joram king of Israel and Ahaziah king of Judah went out, each in his chariot, and they went out to meet Jehu, and found him on Naboth the Jezreelite’s land.

耶斯列人拿伯在耶斯列有一個葡萄園，靠近撒瑪利亞王亞哈的王宮。亞哈對拿伯說：“把你的葡萄園讓給我，我可以用作菜園，因為你的葡萄園靠近我的王宮。我要把一個更好的葡萄園與你交換。如果你喜歡，我也可以按市價給你銀子。”可是拿伯對亞哈說：“耶和華絕對不容許我把祖業給你。”亞哈因為耶斯列人拿伯對他說：“我不能把祖業給你”，就悶悶不樂回到宮裡。他躺在床上，臉朝向內，也不吃飯。他的妻子耶洗別進來見他，問他說：“你為甚麼心裡這麼煩悶，連飯也不吃呢？”亞哈回答她說：“因為我對耶斯列人拿伯說：‘把你的葡萄園讓給我，我付你銀子；或者你喜歡的話，我可以用另一個葡萄園與你交換’；可是他說：‘我不能把我的葡萄園讓給你。’”他的妻子耶洗別對他說：“你現在不是統治以色列的王嗎？只管起來吃飯，心神暢快，我必能把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園給你。”

亞哈謝去見約蘭，就遇了害，這原是出於神；因為他去到以後，就和約蘭一同出去攻擊寧示的孫子耶戶。這耶戶就是耶和華所膏的，為要除滅亞哈家。

亞哈問：“藉著誰呢？”先知回答：“耶和華這樣說：‘藉著跟從各省省長的年輕人。’”亞哈又問：“誰先開戰呢？”先知說：“是你。”

拉吉的居民哪！要用快馬套車，這就是錫安子民（“子民”原文作“女子”）罪惡的開端；因為以色列的過犯，都在你那裡找到了。

耶戶對副官畢甲說：“把他抬起來，丟在耶斯列人拿伯的田地裡，因為我還記得你我一起駕車跟隨他父親亞哈的時候，耶和華曾宣告了這些有關亞哈的話：‘昨天我實在看見了拿伯的血和他兒子們的血（這是耶和華的宣告）；我要在這塊田地上報應你（這是耶和華的宣告）。’現在你要按著耶和華的話，把他抬起來丟在田裡。”

摩西從加低斯派使者去見以東王說：“你的兄弟以色列這樣說：你知道我們遭遇的一切困難，

耶洗別聽見拿伯已經被人用石頭打死了，就對亞哈說：“你起來，去佔有那耶斯列人拿伯從前不肯收銀子給你的葡萄園，因為拿伯現在沒有命了，他已經死了。”亞哈聽見拿伯已經死了，就起來，下到耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園那裡去，要佔有那園。那時，耶和華的話臨到提斯比人以利亞說：“你起來，下去迎見住在撒瑪利亞的以色列王亞哈，他現在正在耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園裡。他下到那裡去，是要佔有那個園。你要對他說：‘耶和華這樣說：你殺了人，又佔有他的產業嗎？’你又要對他說：‘耶和華這樣說：狗在甚麼地方舔拿伯的血，也必在甚麼地方舔你的血。’”
