如是、寧示孫約沙法子耶戶叛約蘭、先是約蘭與以色列軍眾、緣亞蘭王哈薛之故、在基列之拉末戍守、

So Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi, conspired against Joram.( Now Joram and all Israel had been defending Ramoth Gilead against Hazael king of Aram,

Jehu was the son of Jehoshaphat, the son of Nimshi. Jehu made plans against Joram. During that time Joram and Israel’s whole army had been guarding Ramoth Gilead. They had been guarding it against Hazael, the king of Aram.

Thus Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram.( Now Joram with all Israel had been on guard at Ramoth-gilead against Hazael king of Syria,

So Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi, led a conspiracy against King Joram.( Now Joram had been with the army at Ramoth gilead, defending Israel against the forces of King Hazael of Aram.

Then Jehu son of Jehoshaphat, son of Nimshi, conspired against Joram. Joram and all Israel had been at Ramoth-gilead on guard against King Hazael of Aram.

So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram.( Now Joram had kept Ramothgilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria.

Then Jehu son of Jehoshaphat son of Nimshi conspired against Joram. Now Joram had been in Ramoth Gilead with the whole Israelite army, guarding against an invasion by King Hazael of Syria.

So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram.( Now Joram was keeping Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael king of Syria;

他与亚哈的儿子约兰同往基列的拉末去，与亚兰王哈薛交战。亚兰人打伤了约兰，

以色列王对臣仆说：“你们不知道基列的拉末是属我们的吗？我们岂可不采取行动，把它从亚兰王手里夺回来呢？”

次日早晨，耶户出来，站着对众百姓说：“你们都是公义的！看哪，我背叛了我的主人，把他杀了，但这所有的人又是谁杀的呢？

耶户进了城门，耶洗别说：“杀主人的心利啊，平安吗？”

以萨迦人亚希雅的儿子巴沙背叛拿答，在非利士人的基比顿杀了他，那时拿答和以色列众人正围困基比顿。

他的大臣心利，就是管理他一半战车的军官背叛他。当他在得撒，在王宫的管家亚杂家里喝醉的时候，

哈薛说：“我主为什么哭？”他说：“因为我知道你必虐待以色列人，用火焚烧他们的堡垒，用刀杀死他们的壮丁，摔死他们的婴孩，剖开他们的孕妇。”哈薛说：“仆人算什么，不过是一条狗，怎么能行这大事呢？”以利沙说：“耶和华指示我，你必作亚兰王。”哈薛离开以利沙，回到他主人那里。主人对他说：“以利沙对你说了什么？”他说：“他告诉我你必能好。”次日，哈薛拿被子浸在水中，蒙住王的脸，王就死了。于是哈薛篡了他的位。

军兵在营中听说心利已经背叛，杀了王，以色列众人当日就在营中立暗利元帅作以色列王。

耶和华的话临到哈拿尼的儿子耶户先知，责备巴沙和他的家，因他行耶和华眼中看为恶的一切事，以他手所做的惹耶和华发怒，像耶罗波安的家一样，又因他杀了耶罗波安全家。

乌西雅的儿子约坦第二十年，以拉的儿子何细亚背叛利玛利的儿子比加，击杀他，篡了他的位。
