The prophet Elisha summoned a man from the company of the prophets and said to him,“ Tuck your cloak into your belt, take this flask of olive oil with you and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Elisha the prophet sent for a man from the group of the prophets. Elisha said to him,“ Tuck your coat into your belt. Take this bottle of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth Gilead.

Then Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him,“ Tie up your garments, and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.

Meanwhile, Elisha the prophet had summoned a member of the group of prophets.“ Get ready to travel,” he told him,“ and take this flask of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth gilead,

The prophet Elisha called one of the sons of the prophets and said,“ Tuck your mantle under your belt, take this flask of oil with you, and go to Ramoth-gilead.

Now Elisha the prophet summoned one of the sons of the prophets and said to him,“ Get ready and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth gilead.

Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him,“ Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

他与亚哈的儿子约兰同往基列的拉末去，与亚兰王哈薛交战。亚兰人打伤了约兰，约兰王回到耶斯列，医治在拉末与亚兰王哈薛打仗时，被亚兰人击打所受的伤。约兰的儿子犹大王亚哈谢因为亚哈的儿子约兰病了，就下到耶斯列看望他。

撒督祭司从帐幕中取了盛膏油的角来，膏所罗门。他们就吹角，众百姓都说：“所罗门王万岁！”

耶和华的手按在以利亚身上，他就束上腰，奔在亚哈前头，一路到耶斯列。

所以你当束腰，起来，将我所吩咐你的一切话都告诉他们；不要因他们惊惶，免得我使你在他们面前惊惶。

所以，要准备好你们的心，谨慎自守，专心盼望耶稣基督显现的时候带给你们的恩惠。

亚哈问约沙法说：“你肯同我去攻打基列的拉末吗？”约沙法对以色列王说：“你我不分彼此，我的军队就是你的军队，我的马就是你的马。”

“你们要束紧腰带，灯也要点着，好像仆人等候自己的主人从婚宴上回来。他来叩门，就立刻给他开门。主人来了，看见仆人警醒，那些仆人就有福了。我实在告诉你们，主人会叫他们坐席，自己束上腰带，前来伺候他们。

你们已亲眼看见耶和华因巴力‧毗珥所做的。凡随从巴力‧毗珥的人，耶和华—你的上帝都从你中间除灭了。

有个先知门徒的妻子哀求以利沙说：“你的仆人，我丈夫死了，他敬畏耶和华是你所知道的。现在有债主来，要带走我的两个孩子给他作奴隶。”

在伯特利的先知的门徒出来，到以利沙那里，对他说：“耶和华今日要接你的师父离开你，你知不知道？”他说：“我知道，你们不要作声。”

先知的门徒对以利沙说：“看哪，我们在你面前居住的地方，那里对我们太窄小了。让我们往约旦河去，各人从那里取一根木料，在那里为自己建造居住的地方。”他说：“你们去吧！”有一人说：“请你与仆人同去。”他说：“我可以去。”

耶和华说：‘谁去引诱亚哈上基列的拉末去阵亡呢？’这个这样说，那个那样说。

有一个人是先知的门徒，遵照耶和华的话对他同伴说：“你打我吧！”那人不肯打他。

“现在，以色列啊，听我所教导你们的律例典章，要遵行，好使你们存活，得以进入耶和华—你们列祖之上帝所赐给你们的地，承受为业。
