The prophet Elisha summoned a man from the company of the prophets and said to him,“ Tuck your cloak into your belt, take this flask of olive oil with you and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Elisha the prophet sent for a man from the group of the prophets. Elisha said to him,“ Tuck your coat into your belt. Take this bottle of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth Gilead.

Then Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him,“ Tie up your garments, and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.

Meanwhile, Elisha the prophet had summoned a member of the group of prophets.“ Get ready to travel,” he told him,“ and take this flask of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth gilead,

The prophet Elisha called one of the sons of the prophets and said,“ Tuck your mantle under your belt, take this flask of oil with you, and go to Ramoth-gilead.

And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him,“ Get yourself ready, take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this vial of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth- gilead.

The prophet Elisha called one of the sons of the prophets and said,“ Tuck your mantle under your belt, take this flask of oil with you, and go to Ramoth-gilead.

And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:

Now Elisha the prophet summoned a member of the prophetic guild and told him,“ Tuck your robes into your belt, take this container of olive oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him,“ Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Then Samuel took the flask of oil, poured it on Saul’s head, kissed him, and said,“ Has the Lord not anointed you as ruler over His inheritance?

Then he said to Gehazi,“ Get ready and take my staff in your hand, and go; if you meet anyone, do not greet him, and if anyone greets you, do not reply to him. And lay my staff on the boy’s face.”

Now the Lord said to Samuel,“ How long are you going to mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him from being king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go; I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, because I have chosen a king for Myself among his sons.”

Then he went with Joram the son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth gilead, and the Arameans wounded Joram.So King Joram returned to have himself healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramah when he fought against Hazael king of Aram. Then Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel because he was sick.

And Zadok the priest then took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said,“ Long live King Solomon!”

Then the hand of the Lord was on Elijah, and he belted his cloak around his waist and outran Ahab to Jezreel.

Now, belt your garment around your waist and arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed before them, or I will make you dismayed before them.

Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

So he said to Jehoshaphat,“ Will you go to battle with me at Ramoth gilead?” And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel,“ Consider me yours, my people yours, and my horses yours!”

“ Be prepared, and keep your lamps lit.You are also to be like people who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door for him when he comes and knocks.Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will prepare himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and he will come up and serve them.

Your eyes have seen what the Lord has done in the case of Baal peor, for all the men who followed Baal peor, the Lord your God has destroyed them from among you.

Now a woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying,“ Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord; and the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves.”

Then the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel went out to Elisha and said to him,“ Are you aware that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said,“ Yes, I am aware; say nothing about it.”

Now the sons of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Behold now, the place before you where we are living is too cramped for us.Please let us go to the Jordan, and let us each take from there a beam, and let us construct a place there for ourselves, to live there.” So he said,“ Go.”Then one of them said,“ Please agree and go with your servants.” And he said,“ I will go.”

And the Lord said,‘ Who will entice Ahab to go up and fall at Ramoth gilead?’ And one spirit said this, while another said that.

Now a man from the sons of the prophets said to another by the word of the Lord,“ Please strike me.” But the man refused to strike him.

“ Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and the judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you will live and go in and take possession of the land which the Lord, the God of your fathers, is giving you.
