The prophet Elisha summoned a man from the company of the prophets and said to him,“ Tuck your cloak into your belt, take this flask of olive oil with you and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Elisha the prophet sent for a man from the group of the prophets. Elisha said to him,“ Tuck your coat into your belt. Take this bottle of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth Gilead.

Then Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him,“ Tie up your garments, and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.

Meanwhile, Elisha the prophet had summoned a member of the group of prophets.“ Get ready to travel,” he told him,“ and take this flask of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth gilead,

Now Elisha the prophet summoned one of the sons of the prophets and said to him,“ Get ready and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth gilead.

And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him,“ Get yourself ready, take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

And Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this vial of oil in thy hand, and go to Ramoth- gilead.

Now Elisha the prophet summoned a member of the prophetic guild and told him,“ Tuck your robes into your belt, take this container of olive oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him,“ Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Samuel took the flask of oil, poured it out on Saul’s head, kissed him, and said,“ Hasn’t the LORD anointed you ruler over his inheritance?

So Elisha said to Gehazi,“ Tuck your mantle under your belt, take my staff with you, and go. If you meet anyone, don’t stop to greet him, and if a man greets you, don’t answer him. Then place my staff on the boy’s face.”

The LORD said to Samuel,“ How long are you going to mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and go. I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem because I have selected for myself a king from his sons.”

Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to fight against King Hazael of Aram in Ramoth-gilead, and the Arameans wounded Joram.So King Joram returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds that the Arameans had inflicted on him in Ramoth-gilead when he fought against Aram’s King Hazael. Then Judah’s King Ahaziah son of Jehoram went down to Jezreel to visit Joram son of Ahab since Joram was ill.

The priest Zadok took the horn of oil from the tabernacle and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the ram’s horn, and all the people proclaimed,“ Long live King Solomon!”

The power of the LORD was on Elijah, and he tucked his mantle under his belt and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

“ Now, get ready. Stand up and tell them everything that I command you. Do not be intimidated by them or I will cause you to cower before them.

Therefore, with your minds ready for action, be sober-minded and set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

So he asked Jehoshaphat,“ Will you go with me to fight Ramoth-gilead?” Jehoshaphat replied to the king of Israel,“ I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”

“ Be ready for service and have your lamps lit.You are to be like people waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet so that when he comes and knocks, they can open the door for him at once.Blessed will be those servants the master finds alert when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will get ready, have them recline at the table, then come and serve them.

Your eyes have seen what the LORD did at Baal-peor, for the LORD your God destroyed every one of you who followed Baal of Peor.

One of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha,“ Your servant, my husband, has died. You know that your servant feared the LORD. Now the creditor is coming to take my two children as his slaves.”

Then the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha and said,“ Do you know that the LORD will take your master away from you today?” He said,“ Yes, I know. Be quiet.”

The sons of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Please notice that the place where we live under your supervision is too small for us.Please let us go to the Jordan where we can each get a log and can build ourselves a place to live there.”“ Go,” he said.Then one said,“ Please come with your servants.”“ I’ll come,” he answered.

And the LORD said,‘ Who will entice Ahab to march up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ So one was saying this and another was saying that.

One of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow prophet by the word of the LORD,“ Strike me!” But the man refused to strike him.

“ Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and ordinances I am teaching you to follow, so that you may live, enter, and take possession of the land the LORD, the God of your ancestors, is giving you.
