王就對哈薛說：『你手裏帶着禮物去會見神人，託他尋問永恆主說：『我患這病、活得了、活不了？』

王命哈薛曰、爾攜禮物、往迎上帝僕、託之詢於耶和華、我病得愈否、

王諭哈泄曰、爾攜禮物、往見上帝之僕、請彼問耶和華我疾得愈否。

he said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go to meet the man of God. Consult the Lord through him; ask him,‘ Will I recover from this illness?’”

Then the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you. Go and see the man of God. Ask him for the Lord’ s advice. Ask him whether I will get well again.”

the king said to Hazael,“ Take a present with you and go to meet the man of God, and inquire of the Lord through him, saying,‘ Shall I recover from this sickness?’”

So the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go meet the man of God. Inquire of the Lord through him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

So the king told Hazael,“ Take a gift and go visit the prophet. Request from him an oracle from the LORD. Ask him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

The king said to Hazael,“ Take a present in your hand, and go, meet the man of God, and inquire of Yahweh by him, saying,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

一天，亚哈谢从撒玛利亚王宫的楼台上掉下来，受了伤，就派使者去求问以革伦的神明巴力·西卜，看自己能否痊愈。

耶和华吩咐他说：“你原路返回，前往大马士革附近的旷野，到了之后要膏立哈薛做亚兰王。

扫罗答道：“如果去，我们有什么可以送给他呢？我们袋里的食物也吃完了，我们还有什么可以送给上帝的仆人呢？”

将来从哈薛刀下逃生的，必被耶户杀死；从耶户刀下逃生的，必被以利沙杀死。

亚兰王说：“你去吧。我会写信给以色列王的。”于是，乃缦带了三百四十公斤银子、七十公斤金子和十套衣服，启程前往以色列。

约沙法说：“这里有没有耶和华的先知？我们可以托他求问耶和华。”以色列王的一个臣仆答道：“沙法的儿子以利沙在这里，以前他是以利亚的助手。”约沙法说：“耶和华会借他说话。”于是以色列王、犹大王和以东王一起去见以利沙。以利沙对以色列王说：“我与你有什么关系？你去问你父母的先知吧！”以色列王说：“不要这样说，耶和华招聚我们三王，是要把我们交给摩押王！”

他们答道：“有一个人在路上截住我们，要我们回来告诉你，耶和华对你说，‘你差人去求问以革伦的神明巴力·西卜，是因为以色列没有上帝吗？因此，你再也不能下床了，你必定死。’”

有人问祂：“主啊，得救的人是否很少呢？”耶稣对他们说：

狱卒领他们出来后问道：“两位先生，我该怎样做才能得救？”

那时，耶罗波安的儿子亚比雅病了，耶罗波安就吩咐妻子：“你乔装改扮使人认不出你是我妻子，然后去示罗找那位预言我做王的先知亚希雅。你要带十个饼、一些薄饼和一瓶蜂蜜去，他将告诉你孩子的病情会怎样。”耶罗波安的妻子就照他的话做，前往示罗，来到亚希雅家。那时亚希雅因年纪老迈，眼睛已失明。
