大衛殺瑣巴人時、利遜集人成群、而為其長、往大瑪色居焉、在彼立一國、

亞蘭王便哈達集其全軍、偕之者有三十二王、又有馬與車、上而環攻撒瑪利亞、

大瑪色僅亞蘭之首、首或作都利汛僅大瑪色之首、首或作王撒瑪利亞僅以法蓮之首、首或作都利瑪利子僅撒瑪利亞之首、首或作王六十五年之內、以法蓮必敗、不再成國、如爾不信、亦不得堅立、亦不得堅立或作亦不能恆存

有一臣曰、我主我王歟、無人助之、乃以色列先知以利沙、能以王在臥室所言之事、告以色列王、

便哈達謂王曰、昔我父所奪王父之城邑、今我必反之、王可在大瑪色立街市、如我父曾在撒瑪利亞立街市然、亞哈曰、我循此約、必使王歸、於是與之立約而使之歸、

時有神人奉主命、自猶大至伯特利、耶羅波安適立壇上、欲焚香、

乘夜率僕從分路而攻、追至大瑪色左之何巴、

天主僕摩西於未死之先、為以色列人祝福、其言如左、

先知弟子在耶利歌、見此則曰、感以利亞之神、亦感以利沙、遂來迎之、在其前俯伏於地、

或告迦薩人曰、參孫至此、遂終夜環守、更伏邑門、終夜靜默伺之、自謂待天明必殺之、

遂遣五十夫長與其五十人、往見以利亞、既至、見以利亞坐於山巔、謂之曰、神人、王命爾下、以利亞對五十夫長曰、我果為神人、願火自天降、燬爾及爾之五十人、於是有火自天降、燬五十夫長及其五十人、

不遇、即曳耶孫與數兄弟、解至邑宰、呼曰、彼亂天下者、已至此、
