對曰、以利沙曾使死者復生。言間、所甦其子之婦、為室與田呼告於王。其哈西曰、我主我王與、昔以利沙所甦之子、即此子也、此婦即其母也。

基哈西即以以利沙曾使死者復生之事告王、言時、適所甦之子之母、偕其子為居宅田畝而來、呼告於王、基哈西曰、我主我王歟、此即所言之婦、此乃其子、即以利沙所甦者、

Just as Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life, the woman whose son Elisha had brought back to life came to appeal to the king for her house and land. Gehazi said,“ This is the woman, my lord the king, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.”

Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had brought a dead boy back to life. Just then the woman came to ask the king to get her house and land back. She was the woman whose son Elisha had brought back to life. Gehazi said,“ King Joram, this is the woman I’ve been telling you about. And this is her son. He’s the one Elisha brought back to life.”

And while he was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life appealed to the king for her house and her land. And Gehazi said,“ My lord, O king, here is the woman, and here is her son whom Elisha restored to life.”

And Gehazi was telling the king about the time Elisha had brought a boy back to life. At that very moment, the mother of the boy walked in to make her appeal to the king about her house and land.“ Look, my lord the king!” Gehazi exclaimed.“ Here is the woman now, and this is her son— the very one Elisha brought back to life!”

While he was telling the king how Elisha restored the dead son to life, the woman whose son he had restored to life came to appeal to the king for her house and field. So Gehazi said,“ My lord the king, this is the woman and this is the son Elisha restored to life.”

And as he was reporting to the king how he had restored to life the one who was dead, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life appealed to the king for her house and for her field. And Gehazi said,“ My lord the king, this is the woman and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.”

Now it happened, as he was telling the king how he had restored the dead to life, that there was the woman whose son he had restored to life, appealing to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said,“ My Lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.”

And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored to life him that was dead, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. Then he returned, and walked in the house once back and forth; and went up, and stretched himself out on him. Then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

Then Haman took the clothing and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and had him ride through the city square, and proclaimed before him,“ Thus it shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!”Mordecai came back to the king’s gate, but Haman hurried to his house, mourning and having his head covered.

A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.

I will exalt you, my God, the King. I will praise your name forever and ever.

I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.

What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

As a lamb before his shearer is silent, so he doesn’t open his mouth.In his humiliation, his judgment was taken away. Who will declare His generation? For his life is taken from the earth.”The eunuch answered Philip,“ Who is the prophet talking about? About himself, or about someone else?”Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture, preached to him about Jesus.As they went on the way, they came to some water, and the eunuch said,“ Behold, here is water. What is keeping me from being baptized?”

As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, saying,“ Help, my lord, O king!”

“ Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will,but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
