Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram;

Ahaziah joined forces with Joram. They went to war against Hazael at Ramoth Gilead. Joram was the son of Ahab. Hazael was king of Aram. The soldiers of Aram wounded King Joram.

He went with Joram the son of Ahab to make war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead, and the Syrians wounded Joram.

Ahaziah joined Joram son of Ahab in his war against King Hazael of Aram at Ramoth gilead. When the Arameans wounded King Joram in the battle,

從迦得支派的地業中所得的是基列的拉末，就是誤殺人的逃城和城的郊外、瑪哈念和城的郊外、

那些戰車長看見約沙法就說：「這一定是以色列王！」他們轉過去與他交戰。約沙法一呼喊，耶和華就幫助他，上帝使他們轉離他。

次日，哈薛拿被子浸在水中，蒙住王的臉，王就死了。於是哈薛篡了他的位。

以色列王對臣僕說：「你們不知道基列的拉末是屬我們的嗎？我們豈可不採取行動，把它從亞蘭王手裏奪回來呢？」亞哈問約沙法說：「你肯同我去攻打基列的拉末嗎？」約沙法對以色列王說：「你我不分彼此，我的軍隊就是你的軍隊，我的馬就是你的馬。」

哈薛說：「我主為甚麼哭？」他說：「因為我知道你必虐待以色列人，用火焚燒他們的堡壘，用刀殺死他們的壯丁，摔死他們的嬰孩，剖開他們的孕婦。」哈薛說：「僕人算甚麼，不過是一條狗，怎麼能行這大事呢？」以利沙說：「耶和華指示我，你必作亞蘭王。」

哈拿尼的兒子耶戶先見出來迎接約沙法王，對他說：「你怎麼可以幫助惡人，愛那恨耶和華的人呢？因此耶和華的憤怒臨到你了。

他向前行，派人到猶大王約沙法那裏，說：「摩押王背叛我，你肯同我去攻打摩押嗎？」約沙法說：「我肯上去，你我不分彼此，我的軍隊就是你的軍隊，我的馬就是你的馬。」

過了幾年，他下到撒瑪利亞去見亞哈；亞哈為他和跟從他的人宰了許多牛羊，勸他一同上去攻打基列的拉末。以色列王亞哈問猶大王約沙法說：「你肯同我去攻打基列的拉末嗎？」他回答說：「你我不分彼此，我的軍隊就是你的軍隊，我們必與你一同去爭戰。」

後來約蘭王回到耶斯列，醫治他與亞蘭王哈薛打仗時，被亞蘭人擊打所受的傷。耶戶說：「若你們有這樣的意思，就不要讓人溜出城，到耶斯列去報信。」

以色列王和猶大王約沙法上基列的拉末去。

將來逃過哈薛之刀的，必被耶戶所殺；逃過耶戶之刀的，必被以利沙所殺。
