Ahaziah joined forces with Joram. They went to war against Hazael at Ramoth Gilead. Joram was the son of Ahab. Hazael was king of Aram. The soldiers of Aram wounded King Joram.

He went with Joram the son of Ahab to make war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth-gilead, and the Syrians wounded Joram.

Ahaziah joined Joram son of Ahab in his war against King Hazael of Aram at Ramoth gilead. When the Arameans wounded King Joram in the battle,

Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to fight against King Hazael of Aram in Ramoth-gilead, and the Arameans wounded Joram.

Then he went with Joram the son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth gilead, and the Arameans wounded Joram.

Now he went with Joram the son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramoth Gilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.

He joined Ahab’s son Joram in a battle against King Hazael of Syria at Ramoth Gilead in which the Syrians defeated Joram.

He also followed their counsel when he went with Joram son of Ahab king of Israel to wage war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead. The Arameans wounded Joram;

from the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead( a city of refuge for one accused of murder), Mahanaim,

When the chariot commanders saw Jehoshaphat, they thought,“ This is the king of Israel.” So they turned to attack him, but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him. God drew them away from him,

But the next day he took a thick cloth, soaked it in water and spread it over the king’s face, so that he died. Then Hazael succeeded him as king.

The king of Israel had said to his officials,“ Don’t you know that Ramoth Gilead belongs to us and yet we are doing nothing to retake it from the king of Aram?”So he asked Jehoshaphat,“ Will you go with me to fight against Ramoth Gilead?” Jehoshaphat replied to the king of Israel,“ I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”

“ Why is my lord weeping?” asked Hazael.“ Because I know the harm you will do to the Israelites,” he answered.“ You will set fire to their fortified places, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little children to the ground, and rip open their pregnant women.”Hazael said,“ How could your servant, a mere dog, accomplish such a feat?”“ The Lord has shown me that you will become king of Aram,” answered Elisha.

Jehu the seer, the son of Hanani, went out to meet him and said to the king,“ Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Because of this, the wrath of the Lord is on you.

He also sent this message to Jehoshaphat king of Judah:“ The king of Moab has rebelled against me. Will you go with me to fight against Moab?”“ I will go with you,” he replied.“ I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”

Some years later he went down to see Ahab in Samaria. Ahab slaughtered many sheep and cattle for him and the people with him and urged him to attack Ramoth Gilead.Ahab king of Israel asked Jehoshaphat king of Judah,“ Will you go with me against Ramoth Gilead?” Jehoshaphat replied,“ I am as you are, and my people as your people; we will join you in the war.”

but King Joram had returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds the Arameans had inflicted on him in the battle with Hazael king of Aram.) Jehu said,“ If you desire to make me king, don’t let anyone slip out of the city to go and tell the news in Jezreel.”

So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah went up to Ramoth Gilead.

Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu.
