Hazael said,“ How could your servant, a mere dog, do this monstrous thing?” Elisha answered,“ The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”

哈薛说：“你仆人算什么，不过是一条狗，焉能行这大事呢？”以利沙回答说：“耶和华指示我，你必作亚兰王。”

哈薛说：“仆人算什么，不过是一条狗，怎么能行这大事呢？”以利沙说：“耶和华指示我，你必作亚兰王。”

哈薛说：“仆人算什么，不过是一条狗，怎么能行这大事呢？”以利沙说：“耶和华指示我，你必作亚兰王。”

哈薛说：“你仆人算什么，不过是一条狗，怎能做这样的大事呢？”以利沙说：“耶和华告诉我，你要做亚兰王。”

哈薛说：“你仆人算什么？不过是一条狗罢了；怎可以作这样的大事呢？”以利沙说：“耶和华已指示我，你要作王统治亚兰。”

哈薛說：「你僕人算甚麼，不過是一條狗，焉能行這大事呢？」以利沙回答說：「耶和華指示我，你必作亞蘭王。」

哈薛說：「僕人算甚麼，不過是一條狗，怎麼能行這大事呢？」以利沙說：「耶和華指示我，你必作亞蘭王。」

哈薛說：「僕人算甚麼，不過是一條狗，怎麼能行這大事呢？」以利沙說：「耶和華指示我，你必作亞蘭王。」

哈薛說：「你僕人算什麼，不過是一條狗，怎能做這樣的大事呢？」以利沙說：「耶和華告訴我，你要做亞蘭王。」

哈薛說：“你僕人算甚麼？不過是一條狗罷了；怎可以作這樣的大事呢？”以利沙說：“耶和華已指示我，你要作王統治亞蘭。”

哈薛說：『你僕人算甚麼？不過是一條狗：怎能行這大事呢？』以利沙說：『永恆主指示我、你必作王去管理亞蘭。』

哈薛曰、僕何人斯、乃一犬耳、焉能行此大事、以利沙曰、耶和華已示我、爾必為亞蘭王、

哈泄曰、我甚微藐、無異於犬、焉能作此大事乎。以利沙曰、耶和華示我爾必為亞蘭王。

哈薛曰、僕何人斯、惟一犬耳、焉能作此大事乎、以利沙曰、主默示我、爾必為亞蘭王、

Hazael said,“ How could your servant, a mere dog, accomplish such a feat?”“ The Lord has shown me that you will become king of Aram,” answered Elisha.

Hazael said,“ How could I possibly do a thing like that? I’m nothing but a dog. I don’t have that kind of power.”“ You will become king of Aram,” Elisha answered.“ That’s what the Lord has shown me.”

And Hazael said,“ What is your servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing?” Elisha answered,“ The Lord has shown me that you are to be king over Syria.”

Hazael responded,“ How could a nobody like me ever accomplish such great things?” Elisha answered,“ The Lord has shown me that you are going to be the king of Aram.”

Hazael said,“ How could your servant, a mere dog, do such a mighty deed?” Elisha answered,“ The LORD has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”

Then Hazael said,“ But what is your servant— a lowly dog— that he could do this great thing?” And Elisha answered,“ The Lord has shown me that you will be king over Aram.”

So Hazael said,“ But what is your servant— a dog, that he should do this gross thing?” And Elisha answered,“ The Lord has shown me that you will become king over Syria.”

And Hazael said, But what is thy servant, who is but a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, Jehovah hath showed me that thou shalt be king over Syria.

And Hazael said, But what,[ is] thy servant a dog, that he should do this great thing? And Elisha answered, The LORD hath shewed me that thou[ shalt be] king over Syria.

Hazael said,“ How could your servant, who is as insignificant as a dog, accomplish this great military victory?” Elisha answered,“ The LORD has revealed to me that you will be the king of Syria.”

Hazael said,“ But what is your servant, who is but a dog, that he could do this great thing?” Elisha answered,“ Yahweh has shown me that you will be king over Syria.”

He said to David,“ Am I a dog that you come against me with sticks?” Then he cursed David by his gods.

Then the Lord said to him,“ Go and return by the way you came to the Wilderness of Damascus. When you arrive, you are to anoint Hazael as king over Aram.

Mephibosheth bowed down and said,“ What is your servant that you take an interest in a dead dog like me?”

Watch out for“ dogs,” watch out for evil workers, watch out for those who mutilate the flesh.

Elisha told him,“ Go say to him,‘ You are sure to recover.’ But the Lord has shown me that he is sure to die.”

Don’t give what is holy to dogs or toss your pearls before pigs, or they will trample them with their feet, turn, and tear you to pieces.

For dogs have surrounded me; a gang of evildoers has closed in on me; they pierced my hands and my feet.

Deliver my life from the sword, my only life from the power of these dogs.

Woe to those who dream up wickedness and prepare evil plans on their beds! At morning light they accomplish it because the power is in their hands.

Israel’s watchmen are blind, all of them, they know nothing; all of them are mute dogs, they cannot bark; they dream, lie down, and love to sleep.These dogs have fierce appetites; they never have enough. And they are shepherds who have no discernment; all of them turn to their own way, every last one for his own gain.

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

The heart is more deceitful than anything else, and incurable— who can understand it?

Peter told Him,“ Even if everyone runs away because of You, I will never run away!”“ I assure you,” Jesus said to him,“ tonight, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times!”“ Even if I have to die with You,” Peter told Him,“ I will never deny You!” And all the disciples said the same thing.
