Now Elisha had spoken unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thy household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for Jehovah hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

有婦人焉、以利沙曾甦其子、今告之曰、耶和華命必使饑饉、臨於斯土、歷至七載、爾與爾家、必當遷徙、隨爾所適、

昔以利沙甦婦之子、今告斯婦曰、爾與爾家皆起、往可居之地而居、蓋主命定於斯地、將饑饉七年、

Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,“ Go away with your family and stay for a while wherever you can, because the Lord has decreed a famine in the land that will last seven years.”

Elisha had brought a woman’s son back to life. He had said to her,“ Go away with your family. Stay for a while anywhere you can. The Lord has decided that there won’t be enough food in the land. That will be true for seven years.”

Now Elisha had said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,“ Arise, and depart with your household, and sojourn wherever you can, for the Lord has called for a famine, and it will come upon the land for seven years.”

Elisha had told the woman whose son he had brought back to life,“ Take your family and move to some other place, for the Lord has called for a famine on Israel that will last for seven years.”

Elisha said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,“ Get ready, you and your household, and go live as a resident alien wherever you can. For the LORD has announced a seven-year famine, and it has already come to the land.”

Now Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying,“ Arise and go with your household, and live wherever you can live; for the Lord has called for a famine, and it will indeed come on the land for seven years.”

Then Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying,“ Arise and go, you and your household, and stay wherever you can; for the Lord has called for a famine, and furthermore, it will come upon the land for seven years.”

Elisha said to the woman whose son he had restored to life,“ Get ready, you and your household, and go and live as a foreigner wherever you can. For the Lord has announced a seven-year famine, and it has already come to the land.”

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

Now Elisha advised the woman whose son he had brought back to life,“ You and your family should go and live somewhere else for a while, for the LORD has decreed that a famine will overtake the land for seven years.”

Now Elisha had spoken to the woman whose son he had restored to life, saying,“ Arise, and go, you and your household, and stay for a while wherever you can; for Yahweh has called for a famine. It will also come on the land for seven years.”

And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the grain, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labor of the hands.

And he called for a famine upon the land; He brake the whole staff of bread.

And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he returned to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed.He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto Jehovah.And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon him; and the flesh of the child waxed warm.Then he returned, and walked in the house once to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

And it came to pass in the days when the judges judged, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Beth- lehem- judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers.

When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

But of a truth I say unto you, There were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when there came a great famine over all the land;

And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was sore in the land.

And Elijah went to show himself unto Ahab. And the famine was sore in Samaria.

And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the sojourners of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As Jehovah, the God of Israel, liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

And the seven lean and ill- favored kine that came up after them are seven years, and also the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind; they shall be seven years of famine.That is the thing which I spake unto Pharaoh: what God is about to do he hath showed unto Pharaoh.

And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one: what God is about to do he hath declared unto Pharaoh.

For, lo, I begin to work evil at the city which is called by my name; and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts.

And there was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines, unto Gerar.

For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thy foes while they pursue thee? or shall there be three days’ pestilence in thy land? now advise thee, and consider what answer I shall return to him that sent me.

And they said unto Pharaoh, To sojourn in the land are we come; for there is no pasture for thy servants’ flocks; for the famine is sore in the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in the land of Goshen.

Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather little in; for the locust shall consume it.Thou shalt plant vineyards and dress them, but thou shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worm shall eat them.Thou shalt have olive- trees throughout all thy borders, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast its fruit.

And I will break the pride of your power: and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass;and your strength shall be spent in vain; for your land shall not yield its increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruit.

and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.

A fruitful land into a salt desert, For the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be a great famine over all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius.

And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh, it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
