有人靠戰車，有人靠戰馬，但我們靠的是我們的上帝耶和華的名。他們都一敗塗地，我們卻屹立不倒。

耶和華掌管君王的心，易如支配壟溝的流水。

「眾王和他們的軍隊逃走了，逃走了！」以色列的婦女都在分戰利品。

恐懼四面籠罩著他，步步緊追著他。

快捷的無法逃遁，強壯的無力可施，勇猛的救不了自己，拉弓的站立不住，腿快的無法逃脫，騎馬的救不了自己。到那日，最勇猛的戰士也要丟盔棄甲，倉皇逃命。這是耶和華說的。

上帝絕不說謊，祂將永不改變的應許和誓言給了我們，使我們這些尋找避難所、持定擺在前面之盼望的人可以大得鼓勵。

住在猶太地區的人要趕快逃到山上去，在屋頂上的人不要下來進屋收拾行李，在田間工作的人也不要回家取外衣。
