告以色列族云、凡患癩疾、白濁、及捫尸蒙污之人、無論男女、悉當驅之、屏於營外、我所處之營、勿使有玷、以色列族遵耶和華諭摩西之命而行。○

耶和華曰、若彼父唾於其面、使蒙羞惡、歷至七日、故必禁之營外、至於七日、然後可入。

先知告民曰、我儕坐此曷故、必會眾入城、在彼默默無語、我獲罪於我之上帝耶和華、使我嘗膽、無詞可述。

其時王與上帝僕之從者其哈西相語。王曰、以利沙所行異跡、願聞其詳。

凡患癩者。必裂衣、露頂掩口、自呼曰、我污矣、我污矣。當其患癩時、誠蒙不潔、必異室獨處、居於營外。○

若欲入邑、則邑中饑甚、我必死、如坐於此、亦必死、寧降於亞蘭軍、若保我生、則得生、若殺我、則有死而已。

亞蘭王之軍長乃慢、素稱英武、耶和華用之救亞蘭人、故其王甚器重之、不幸身遘癩疾。

耶和華曾言、凡諸邦國、不肯服事巴比倫王、必以鋒刃、饑饉、瘟疫、使之淪喪今汝與民、何為自取死亡。
