『你要吩咐以色列人把一切患痲瘋屬之病的、一切患漏症的、一切因死人而不潔淨的、都從營裏送出去；無論男女、你們都要送走，把他們送到營外，免得使他們的營蒙不潔，因為這營是我所居住的。』以色列人就這樣行，把他們送到營外；永恆主怎樣告訴摩西，以色列人就怎樣行。

永恆主對摩西說：『她父親若吐唾沫在她臉上，她不是要蒙羞七天麼？把她關閉在營外七天，然後才可以收她回營。』

我們為甚麼靜坐不動呢？聚集攏來哦，我們好進入有堡壘的城，在那裏寂滅掉；因為永恆主我們的上帝命定我們寂滅，將毒苦水給我們喝，因為我們犯罪得罪了永恆主。

『身上有痲瘋屬災病的人、他的衣服要撕裂，頭髮要蓬散；他要摀着上脣喊叫說：「我不潔淨，不潔淨。」儘災病在他身上的日子，他總是不潔淨；他既不潔淨，就要獨居；住所須要在營外。

我們若說：我們進城去吧，城裏呢、鬧饑荒，我們必死在那裏；我們若在這裏坐着不動呢，也是死。來吧，我們現在去投歸亞蘭人的軍營吧；他們若讓我們活着，我們就活着；他們若殺死我們，我們就死算了。』

亞蘭王的軍長乃縵在他的主上面前是個大人物，受人景仰，很有體面，因為永恆主曾藉着他使亞蘭人得勝；這人呢、是個有力氣英勇的人，卻患了痲瘋屬之病。

你和你人民為甚麼硬要由刀劍、饑荒、和瘟疫、去死亡，像永恆主論到那不服事巴比倫王的那種國所說的話呢？
