“你要吩咐以色列人，把所有患痲风病的，患漏症的，以及因接触死人而不洁的，都送出营外；无论男女，你们都要送出去；你们要把他们送出营外，免得他们玷污自己的营，这营就是我居住的。”以色列人就这样行了，把他们送出营外；耶和华怎样吩咐摩西，以色列人就怎样行了。

耶和华对摩西说：“如果她的父亲吐唾沫在她脸上，她不是要蒙羞七天吗？现在把她关在营外七天，然后才让她回来。”

我们为什么坐着不动呢？你们要集合起来，我们要进入坚固的城里去，在那里灭亡吧！因为耶和华我们的神要我们灭亡，又把毒水给我们喝，因我们得罪了耶和华。

那时王正在和神人的仆人基哈西交谈，说：“请你向我讲述以利沙所作的一切大事。”

“身上患有痲风病的人，要撕裂自己的衣服，披头散发，遮盖上唇喊叫：‘不洁净！不洁净！’在他患病的日子里，他是不洁净的；他既然不洁净，就要独居，住在营外。

我们如果说：‘我们进城去吧！’城里正有饥荒，我们就要死在那里。我们如果坐在这里，也是要死。现在，让我们去投降亚兰人的军队吧；如果他们饶我们一命，我们就可以活着；如果他们要杀死我们，我们就死吧。”

亚兰王的军长乃缦在他的主人面前是一个大人物，很得王的赏识，因为耶和华曾藉他把胜利赐给亚兰。这个人是个勇猛的战士，可惜他是个痲风病人。

你和你的人民为什么要因刀剑、饥荒和瘟疫而死，正如耶和华论到不肯服事巴比伦王的国家所说的一样呢？
