And it came to pass, as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to- morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria;

神人曾对王说：“明日约到这时候，在撒玛利亚城门口，二细亚大麦要卖银一舍客勒，一细亚细面也要卖银一舍客勒。”

这是因为当神人对王说：“明天大约这个时分，在撒玛利亚城门口，六公斤大麦卖十一克银子，三公斤面粉也卖十一克银子。”

神人所告訴王的話是說：『明天大約這時候、在撒瑪利亞城門口、二細亞大麥必賣一舍客勒銀子，一細亞細麵也必賣一舍客勒銀子』；

蓋上帝僕曾言於王曰、明日此時、在撒瑪利亞邑門、細麵一細亞、售銀一舍客勒、麰麥二細亞、售銀一舍客勒、

當時上帝之僕告於王曰、明日斯時、在撒馬利亞邑門、麥粉三斗值金半兩、麰麥六斗值金半兩、

當時神人謂王曰、明日斯時、在撒瑪利亞城門、細麵一細亞、值銀一舍客勒、麰麥二細亞、值銀一舍客勒、

It happened as the man of God had said to the king:“ About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.”

What Elisha, the man of God, had told the king came true. Elisha had said,“ About this time tomorrow, flour won’t cost very much. Even 12 pounds of the finest flour will cost less than half of an ounce of silver. You will also be able to buy 20 pounds of barley for the same price. That’s all you will have to pay for those things at the gate of Samaria.”

For when the man of God had said to the king,“ Two seahs of barley shall be sold for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, about this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria,”

The man of God had said to the king,“ By this time tomorrow in the markets of Samaria, six quarts of choice flour will cost one piece of silver, and twelve quarts of barley grain will cost one piece of silver.”

When the man of God had said to the king,“ About this time tomorrow twelve quarts of barley will sell for a half ounce of silver and six quarts of fine flour will sell for a half ounce of silver at Samaria’s gate,”

So it happened just as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying,“ Two measures of barley for a shekel and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, will be sold about this time tomorrow at the gate of Samaria.”

So it happened just as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying,“ Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be sold tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria.”

When the man of God had said to the king,“ About this time tomorrow 12 quarts of barley will sell for a shekel and six quarts of fine meal will sell for a shekel at the gate of Samaria,”

And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:

The prophet told the king,“ Two seahs of barley will sell for a shekel, and a seah of finely milled flour for a shekel; this will happen about this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria.”

It happened as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying,“ Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria;”

But Elisha was sitting in his house, and the elders were sitting with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away my head? look, when the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold the door fast against him: is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?

Is anything too hard for Jehovah? At the set time I will return unto thee, when the season cometh round, and Sarah shall have a son.

And Elisha said, Hear ye the word of Jehovah: thus saith Jehovah, To- morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.Then the captain on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if Jehovah should make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
