While he was still talking with them, behold, the messenger came down to him. Then he said,“ Behold, this evil is from Yahweh. Why should I wait for Yahweh any longer?”

While he was still talking to them, the messenger came down to him. The king said,“ This disaster is from the Lord. Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”

Elisha was still talking to the elders when the messenger came down to him. The king also arrived. He said,“ The Lord has sent this horrible trouble on us. Why should I wait any longer for him to help us?”

And while he was still speaking with them, the messenger came down to him and said,“ This trouble is from the Lord! Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”

While Elisha was still saying this, the messenger arrived. And the king said,“ All this misery is from the Lord! Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”

While Elisha was still speaking with them, the messenger came down to him. Then he said,“ This disaster is from the LORD. Why should I wait for the LORD any longer?”

While he was still talking with them, behold, the messenger came down to him and he said,“ Behold, this evil is from the Lord; why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”

And while he was still talking with them, there was the messenger, coming down to him; and then the king said,“ Surely this calamity is from the Lord; why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”

And while he was yet talking with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil is of Jehovah; why should I wait for Jehovah any longer?

While Elisha was still speaking with them, the messenger came down to him. Then he said,“ This disaster is from the Lord. Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?”

And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil[ is] of the LORD; what should I wait for the LORD any longer?

He was still talking to them when the messenger approached and said,“ Look, the LORD is responsible for this disaster! Why should I continue to wait for the LORD to help?”

Then his wife said to him,“ Do you still maintain your integrity? Renounce God, and die.”

They will pass through it, very distressed and hungry. It will happen that when they are hungry, they will worry, and curse by their king and by their God. They will turn their faces upward,

I will wait for Yahweh, who hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him.

For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land.

But stretch out your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will renounce you to your face.”

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.

that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.

But stretch out your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face.”

so that on the contrary you should rather forgive him and comfort him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his excessive sorrow.

Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.

Cain said to Yahweh,“ My punishment is greater than I can bear.

Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel,“ At evening, you shall know that Yahweh has brought you out from the land of Egypt.In the morning, you shall see Yahweh’s glory; because he hears your murmurings against Yahweh. Who are we, that you murmur against us?”Moses said,“ Now Yahweh will give you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to satisfy you, because Yahweh hears your murmurings which you murmur against him. And who are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against Yahweh.”

My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.

Who among you fears Yahweh and obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness and has no light, let him trust in Yahweh’s name, and rely on his God.

saying,“ I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood.” But they said,“ What is that to us? You see to it.”He threw down the pieces of silver in the sanctuary, and departed. He went away and hanged himself.

He also spoke a parable to them that they must always pray, and not give up,

He said,“ Naked I came out of my mother’s womb, and naked will I return there. Yahweh gave, and Yahweh has taken away. Blessed be Yahweh’s name.”

The foolishness of man subverts his way; his heart rages against Yahweh.

Then Saul said to his armor bearer,“ Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me!” But his armor bearer would not; for he was terrified. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell on it.

You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

When Saul inquired of Yahweh, Yahweh didn’t answer him by dreams, by Urim, or by prophets.Then Saul said to his servants,“ Seek for me a woman who has a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and inquire of her.” His servants said to him,“ Behold, there is a woman who has a familiar spirit at Endor.”Saul disguised himself and put on other clothing, and went, he and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night. Then he said,“ Please consult for me by the familiar spirit, and bring me up whomever I shall name to you.”

People were scorched with great heat, and people blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They didn’t repent and give him glory.The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain,and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They didn’t repent of their works.

Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.

“ Keep your feet from being bare, and your throat from thirst. But you said,‘ It is in vain. No, for I have loved strangers, and I will go after them.’

Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Yahweh.

“ You, son of man, tell the house of Israel:‘ You say this,“ Our transgressions and our sins are on us, and we pine away in them. How then can we live?”’
