“ You are my king and master,” said one of his officers.“ None of us is on Israel’s side. But Elisha is a prophet in Israel. He tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in your own bedroom.”

My people come to you, just as they usually do. They sit in front of you. They hear what you say. But they do not put it into practice. With their mouths they say they love me. But in their hearts they want what belongs to others. They try to get rich by cheating them.

Ahijah heard the sound of her footsteps at the door. He said,“ Come in. I know that you are Jeroboam’s wife. Why are you pretending to be someone else? I have some bad news for you.

He replied,“ Go and tell that fox,‘ I will keep on driving out demons. I will keep on healing people today and tomorrow. And on the third day I will reach my goal.’
