他說：“如果今日沙法的兒子以利沙的頭仍留在他身上，願神懲罰我，而且加倍懲罰我。”

王说：“我今日若容沙法的儿子以利沙的头仍在他项上，愿神重重地降罚与我！”

王说：“我今日若容许沙法的儿子以利沙的头还留在他身上，愿上帝重重惩罚我！”

王说：“我今日若容许沙法的儿子以利沙的头还留在他身上，愿神重重惩罚我！”

王说：“如果今天沙法的儿子以利沙的头颅还留在他颈项上，愿上帝重重地惩罚我！”

他说：“如果今日沙法的儿子以利沙的头仍留在他身上，愿神惩罚我，而且加倍惩罚我。”

王說：「我今日若容沙法的兒子以利沙的頭仍在他項上，願神重重地降罰與我！」

王說：「我今日若容許沙法的兒子以利沙的頭還留在他身上，願上帝重重懲罰我！」

王說：「我今日若容許沙法的兒子以利沙的頭還留在他身上，願神重重懲罰我！」

王說：「如果今天沙法的兒子以利沙的頭顱還留在他頸項上，願上帝重重地懲罰我！」

王說：『我今天若容沙法的兒子以利沙的頭仍留在他脖子上，願上帝這樣懲罰我，並且加倍地懲罰。』

王曰、今日若容沙法子以利沙之首、仍在其身、則願上帝罰我維倍、

王曰、今日必斬沙法子以利沙首、不然願上帝降罰於我。

王曰、我今日若不斬沙法子以利沙之首、原文作我今日若容沙法子以利沙之首仍在其體上則願天主從重罰我、

He said,“ May God deal with me, be it ever so severely, if the head of Elisha son of Shaphat remains on his shoulders today!”

He said,“ I’ll cut the head of Shaphat’s son Elisha off his shoulders today. If I don’t, may God punish me greatly!”

and he said,“ May God do so to me and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat remains on his shoulders today.”

“ May God strike me and even kill me if I don’t separate Elisha’s head from his shoulders this very day,” the king vowed.

He announced,“ May God punish me and do so severely if the head of Elisha son of Shaphat remains on his shoulders today.”

Then he said,“ May God do so to me and more so, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat remains on him today.”

Then he said,“ God do so to me and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat remains on him today!”

Then he said, God do so to me, and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.

He announced,“ May God punish me and do so severely if the head of Elisha son of Shaphat remains on his shoulders today.”

Then he said, God do so and more also to me, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.

Then he said,“ May God judge me severely if Elisha son of Shaphat still has his head by the end of the day!”

Then he said,“ God do so to me, and more also, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat stays on him today.”

耶洗別就差派一個使者去見以利亞說：“明天這個時候，如果我不使你的性命，像那些人一樣，願神明懲罰我，並且加倍懲罰我。”

你死在哪裡，我也要死在哪裡，葬在哪裡。除非死亡把你我分離；如果我離開你，願耶和華加倍懲罰我。”

我若不按著耶和華向大衛所起誓應許的去行：廢去掃羅家的王國，建立大衛的王位，使他統治以色列和猶大，從但直到別是巴，願神降罰押尼珥，重重地降罰他。”

以色列王對約沙法說：“還有一個人，我們可以託他求問耶和華。不過我憎恨他，因為他對我說的預言，都是凶話，不是吉話。這人就是音拉的兒子米該雅。”但約沙法說：“請王不要這麼說。”

眾領袖都惱怒耶利米，就打他，並且把他關進監裡，就是在書記約拿單的房子裡，因為他們已把這房子改作監獄。耶利米進了地牢裡的一個囚房，在那裡監禁了多日。

掃羅說：“約拿單啊！你必定要死，否則，願神加倍懲罰我。”

到了天亮，猶太人在一起祕密計謀，並且發誓說，不殺保羅，就不吃不喝。一同策劃這項陰謀的有四十多人。

還在白天的時候，眾人都來勸大衛吃點飯；大衛起誓說：“我若在日落以前吃飯或吃甚麼東西，願神降罰我，重重地降罰我。”

你們又要對亞瑪撒說：‘你不是我的骨肉至親嗎？我若不立你代替約押，在我面前作軍隊的元帥，願神重重地懲罰我，並且加倍嚴厲地懲罰我。’”

以利說：“耶和華對你說了甚麼話呢？你不要向我隱瞞，他對你所說的一切話，如果你向我隱瞞一句，願神對付你，並且加倍對付你。”

亞哈看見了以利亞，就問他：“給以色列惹麻煩的這個人就是你嗎？”

也不去想想，一個人代替人民死，免得整個民族滅亡，這對你們是有益的。”

於是眾領袖對王說：“這人應該處死，因為他向這城裡剩下的軍兵和眾民說了這樣的話，使他們的手都軟弱無力。這人不是為這人民求平安，卻是惹來災禍的。”

於是所羅門王指著耶和華起誓，說：“如果亞多尼雅不因說了這話而送命，願神懲罰我，並且加倍懲罰我。

如果我讓這人一切所有的，就是一個男丁，留到明天早晨，神怎樣懲罰大衛的仇敵，願他也怎樣加倍懲罰我。”
