以色列王看見他們，就對以利沙說：「我父啊，我真的可以擊殺他們嗎？」

When the king of Israel saw them, he asked Elisha,“ Shall I kill them, my father? Shall I kill them?”

The king of Israel saw them. So he asked Elisha,“ Should I kill them? I need your advice. You are like a father to me. Should I kill them?”

As soon as the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha,“ My father, shall I strike them down? Shall I strike them down?”

When the king of Israel saw them, he shouted to Elisha,“ My father, should I kill them? Should I kill them?”

When the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha,“ Should I kill them, should I kill them, my father?”

Then the king of Israel when he saw them, said to Elisha,“ My father, shall I kill them? Shall I kill them?”

Now when the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha,“ My father, shall I kill them? Shall I kill them?”

And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite them? shall I smite them?

When the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha,“ My father, should I kill them? I will kill them.”

他的僕人近前來，對他說：「我父啊，先知若吩咐你做一件大事，你豈不做嗎？何況是吩咐你去沐浴，得潔淨呢？」

於是哈薛用四十匹駱駝，馱着大馬士革的各樣美物為禮物，去迎見以利沙。哈薛到了那裏，站在他面前，說：「你兒子亞蘭王便‧哈達派我到你這裏，問說：『我這病會不會好？』」

以利沙看見，就呼叫說：「我父啊！我父啊！以色列的戰車騎兵啊！」以利沙不再看見他的時候，就把自己的衣服撕為兩片。

以利沙得了致命的病，以色列王約阿施下來看他，伏在他臉上哭泣，說：「我父啊！我父啊！以色列的戰車和騎兵啊！」

左右的人見了要發生的事，就說：「主啊，我們拿刀砍好不好？」

他的門徒雅各和約翰看見了，就說：「主啊！你要我們吩咐火從天上降下來，燒滅他們嗎？」耶穌轉身責備兩個門徒。於是他們就往別的村莊去了。

大衛的人對大衛說：「看哪，這日子到了！耶和華曾對你說：『看哪，我要將你的仇敵交在你手裏，你可以照你看為好的對待他。』」大衛就起來，悄悄地割下掃羅外袍的衣角。

亞比篩對大衛說：「神將你的仇敵交在你手裏，現在讓我拿槍把他刺透在地上，一刺就成，不用再刺他了。」

人若遇見仇敵，豈肯放他平安上路呢？願耶和華因你今日向我所做的，以善回報你。
