一位臣仆说：“我主我王啊，没有人泄露。是以色列的先知以利沙将王在寝宫所谈的事告诉了以色列王。”

他的一位臣仆说：“我主我王啊！不是的；只不过是以色列的以利沙先知，把你在你卧室内所说的话，告知了以色列王。”

他的一位臣僕說：“我主我王啊！不是的；只不過是以色列的以利沙先知，把你在你臥室內所說的話，告知了以色列王。”

臣僕中有一個人說：『我主我王，沒有的事，只有以色列中的神言人以利沙、他將王在臥房中所說的話告訴以色列王罷了。』

一臣曰、我主我王歟、非也、乃以色列之先知以利沙、以王在寢室所言者、告以色列王、

一臣曰、我主我王、無人助之、乃以色列族之先知、以利沙以王在寢室所言之事、悉告其主。

“ None of us, my lord the king,” said one of his officers,“ but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words you speak in your bedroom.”

“ You are my king and master,” said one of his officers.“ None of us is on Israel’s side. But Elisha is a prophet in Israel. He tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in your own bedroom.”

And one of his servants said,“ None, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

“ It’s not us, my lord the king,” one of the officers replied.“ Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in the privacy of your bedroom!”

One of his servants said,“ No one, my lord the king. Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in your bedroom.”

One of his servants said,“ No, my lord, the king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

And one of his servants said,“ None, my Lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

And one of his servants said, Nay, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

One of his servants said,“ No one, my lord the king. Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in your bedroom.”

And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that[ is] in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

One of his advisers said,“ No, my master, O king. The prophet Elisha who lives in Israel keeps telling the king of Israel the things you say in your bedroom.”

One of his servants said,“ No, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”

只有那在天上的神能顯明奧祕。他已把日後將要發生的事指示尼布甲尼撒王。你在床上做的夢和你腦中的異象是這樣：你，王啊，你在床上所思想的是關乎日後的事，那顯明奧祕的主已把將來要發生的事指示你。至於我，那奧祕顯明給我，並非因我智慧勝過一切活着的人，而是為了讓王知道夢的解釋，知道你心裏的意念。

主耶和華不會做任何事情，除非先將奧祕指示他的僕人眾先知。

神人以利沙聽見以色列王撕裂衣服，就派人到王那裏，說：「你為甚麼撕裂衣服呢？讓那人到我這裏來，他會知道以色列中有先知。」

『術士的領袖伯提沙撒啊，我知道你裏頭有神聖神明的靈，甚麼奧祕都不能為難你。現在你要把我夢中所見的異象和夢的解釋告訴我。』「我在床上腦中的異象是這樣：我觀看，看哪，大地中間有一棵樹，極其高大。那樹漸長，而且茁壯，高得頂天，從地極都能看見，葉子華美，果子甚多，可作所有動物的食物；野地的走獸臥在蔭下，天空的飛鳥宿在枝上，凡有血肉的都從這樹得食物。「我觀看，我在床上腦中的異象是這樣，看哪，有守望者，就是神聖的一位，從天而降，大聲呼叫說：『砍倒這樹！砍下枝子！拔掉葉子！拋散果子！使走獸逃離樹下，飛鳥躲開樹枝。樹的殘幹卻要留在地裏，在田野的青草中用鐵圈和銅圈套住。任他讓天上的露水滴濕，和地上的走獸一同吃草，使他的心改變，不再是人的心，而給他一個獸心，使他經過七個時期。這是眾守望者所發的命令，是眾聖者所作的決定，好叫世人知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜給誰就賜給誰，並且立極卑微的人執掌國權。』「這是我－尼布甲尼撒王所做的夢。伯提沙撒啊，你要說明這夢的解釋；我國中所有的智慧人都不能把夢的解釋告訴我，惟獨你能，因你裏頭有神聖神明的靈。」

不可詛咒君王，連起意也不可，在臥室裏也不可詛咒富人；因為空中的飛鳥必傳揚這聲音，有翅膀的必述說這事。

我是靠近你們的神，不是遙遠的神，不是嗎？這是耶和華說的。人豈能在隱密處藏身，使我看不見他呢？這是耶和華說的。我豈不遍滿天和地嗎？這是耶和華說的。

神人派人到以色列王那裏，說：「你要小心，不要從某處經過，因為亞蘭人下到那裏去了。」以色列王派人到神人告訴他的地方去。神人警告他，他就在那裏有所防備，不止一兩次。

禍哉！那些向耶和華深藏謀略的，他們在暗中行事，說：「有誰看見我們呢？誰會注意我們呢？」

她對女主人說：「我希望主人去見撒瑪利亞的先知，他必能治好主人的痲瘋。」

王對但以理說：「你既能講明這奧祕，你們的神誠然是萬神之神、萬王之主，是奧祕的啟示者。」

他顯明深奧隱祕的事，洞悉幽暗中的一切，光明也與他同住。我列祖的神啊，我感謝你，讚美你，因你將智慧才能賜給我，我們所求問的現在你已指明給我，把王的事給我們指明。」

耶和華啊，你已經鑒察我，認識我。我坐下，我起來，你都曉得；你從遠處知道我的意念。我行路，我躺臥，你都細察；你也深知我一切所行的。耶和華啊，我舌頭上的話，你沒有一句不知道的。

他的僕人近前來，對他說：「我父啊，先知若吩咐你做一件大事，你豈不做嗎？何況是吩咐你去沐浴，得潔淨呢？」於是乃縵下去，照着神人的話，在約旦河裏浸了七次。他的肉復原，好像小孩的肉，他就潔淨了。乃縵帶着所有跟隨他的人，回到神人那裏，站在他面前，說：「看哪，我知道，除了以色列，全地沒有神。現在請你收下僕人的禮物。」
