神言人弟子們對以利沙說：『看哪、我們在你講座之前所住的地方過於狹窄、不夠我們使用。

先知徒謂以利沙曰、我與爾同居之處、狹隘太甚、

先知之徒、告以利沙曰、爾我偕居、其室甚隘、

先知弟子謂以利沙曰、我儕與爾所居之處甚狹、

The company of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us.

The sons of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Please notice that the place where we live under your supervision is too small for us.

Some of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Look, the place where we meet with you is too cramped for us.

要擴張你帳幕之地，伸展你居所的幔子，不要縮回；要放長你的繩子，堅固你的橛子。因為你要向左向右開展，你的後裔必得列國為業，又使荒廢的城鎮有人居住。

當但的子孫失去他們疆土的時候，就上去攻取利善，用刀擊殺城中的人，得了那城，住在城中，以他們祖先但的名字將利善改名為但。

掃羅派一些使者去捉拿大衛。去的人見一隊先知受感說話，撒母耳站在當中領導他們，掃羅派去的使者也受神的靈感動說話。

約瑟的子孫對約書亞說：「耶和華到如今這樣賜福給我，我百姓眾多，你為甚麼只給我抽一籤，分一份的土地為業呢？」

神也必引你脫離患難，進入寬闊不狹窄之地；擺在你席上的必滿有肥甘。

有個先知門徒的妻子哀求以利沙說：「你的僕人，我丈夫死了，他敬畏耶和華是你所知道的。現在有債主來，要帶走我的兩個孩子給他作奴隸。」
