众先知门徒对以利沙说：“请看，我们在你面前居住的那一个地方，对我们来说实在是太窄小了。

眾先知門徒對以利沙說：“請看，我們在你面前居住的那一個地方，對我們來說實在是太窄小了。

神言人弟子們對以利沙說：『看哪、我們在你講座之前所住的地方過於狹窄、不夠我們使用。

先知徒謂以利沙曰、我與爾同居之處、狹隘太甚、

先知之徒、告以利沙曰、爾我偕居、其室甚隘、

先知弟子謂以利沙曰、我儕與爾所居之處甚狹、

The company of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us.

And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell before thee is too strait for us.

The sons of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Please notice that the place where we live under your supervision is too small for us.

And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.

Some of the prophets said to Elisha,“ Look, the place where we meet with you is too cramped for us.

The sons of the prophets said to Elisha,“ See now, the place where we live and meet with you is too small for us.

And the sons of the prophets who were in Bethel came out to Elisha and said to him,“ Do you know that today the Lord will take away your master from over you?” And he said,“ Yes, I know it; keep quiet.”

“ Surely your waste and your desolate places and your devastated land— surely now you will be too narrow for your inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up will be far away.The children of your bereavement will yet say in your ears:‘ The place is too narrow for me; make room for me to dwell in.’

And Elisha came again to Gilgal when there was a famine in the land. And as the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he said to his servant,“ Set on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow at the command of the Lord,“ Strike me, please.” But the man refused to strike him.

“ Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left, and your offspring will possess the nations and will people the desolate cities.

He also allured you out of distress into a broad place where there was no cramping, and what was set on your table was full of fatness.

Now the wife of one of the sons of the prophets cried to Elisha,“ Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord, but the creditor has come to take my two children to be his slaves.”
