Therefore, the king of Aram said,“ Go and I will send a letter with you to the king of Israel.” So he went and took with him 750 pounds of silver, 150 pounds of gold, and 10 changes of clothes.

“ By all means, go,” the king of Aram replied.“ I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So Naaman left, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold and ten sets of clothing.

“ I think you should go,” the king of Aram replied.“ I’ll give you a letter to take to the king of Israel.” So Naaman left. He took 750 pounds of silver with him. He also took 150 pounds of gold. And he took ten sets of clothes.

And the king of Syria said,“ Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So he went, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothing.

“ Go and visit the prophet,” the king of Aram told him.“ I will send a letter of introduction for you to take to the king of Israel.” So Naaman started out, carrying as gifts 750 pounds of silver, 150 pounds of gold, and ten sets of clothing.

Then the king of Aram said,“ Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So he departed and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothes.

Then the king of Syria said,“ Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So he departed and took with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten changes of clothing.

And the king of Syria said, Go now, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.

And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand[ pieces] of gold, and ten changes of raiment.

The king of Syria said,“ Go! I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So Naaman went, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold, and ten suits of clothes.

The king of Syria said,“ Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” He departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of clothing.

“ Let me tell you a riddle,” Samson said to them.“ If you can explain it to me during the seven days of the feast and figure it out, I will give you 30 linen garments and 30 changes of clothes.

So the king said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go meet the man of God. Inquire of the Lord through him,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”Hazael went to meet Elisha, taking with him a gift: 40 camel-loads of all kinds of goods from Damascus. When he came and stood before him, he said,“ Your son, Ben-hadad king of Aram, has sent me to ask you,‘ Will I recover from this sickness?’”

They said to each other,“ Come, let us make oven-fired bricks.” They used brick for stone and asphalt for mortar.

When Simon saw that the Holy Spirit was given through the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money,saying,“ Give me this power too, so that anyone I lay hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”But Peter told him,“ May your silver be destroyed with you, because you thought the gift of God could be obtained with money!

The king of Israel had said to his servants,“ Don’t you know that Ramoth-gilead is ours, but we have failed to take it from the hand of the king of Aram?”

Now I will tell you what I am about to do to My vineyard: I will remove its hedge, and it will be consumed; I will tear down its wall, and it will be trampled.

Then the king declared to the man of God,“ Come home with me, refresh yourself, and I’ll give you a reward.”

“ Suppose we do go,” Saul said to his attendant,“ what do we take the man? The food from our packs is gone, and there’s no gift to take to the man of God. What do we have?”The attendant answered Saul:“ Here, I have a piece of silver. I’ll give it to the man of God, and he will tell us our way.”

Now go to your home! I said I would reward you richly, but look, the Lord has denied you a reward.”Balaam answered Balak,“ Didn’t I previously tell the messengers you sent me:If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go against the Lord’s command, to do anything good or bad of my own will? I will say whatever the Lord says.

Gehazi said,“ It’s all right. My master has sent me to say,‘ I have just now discovered that two young men from the sons of the prophets have come to me from the hill country of Ephraim. Please give them 75 pounds of silver and two changes of clothes.’”But Naaman insisted,“ Please, accept 150 pounds.” He urged Gehazi and then packed 150 pounds of silver in two bags with two changes of clothes. Naaman gave them to two of his young men who carried them ahead of Gehazi.

Come now, you who say,“ Today or tomorrow we will travel to such and such a city and spend a year there and do business and make a profit.”

A man from Baal-shalishah came to the man of God with his sack full of 20 loaves of barley bread from the first bread of the harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people to eat.”

Come, let Us go down there and confuse their language so that they will not understand one another’s speech.”

Come now, you rich people! Weep and wail over the miseries that are coming on you.Your wealth is ruined and your clothes are moth-eaten.Your silver and gold are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You stored up treasure in the last days!

I said to myself,“ Go ahead, I will test you with pleasure; enjoy what is good.” But it turned out to be futile.

He gave each of the brothers changes of clothes, but he gave Benjamin 300 pieces of silver and five changes of clothes.

The elders of Moab and Midian departed with fees for divination in hand. They came to Balaam and reported Balak’s words to him.

for I will greatly honor you and do whatever you ask me. So please come and put a curse on these people for me!’”But Balaam responded to the servants of Balak,“ If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go against the command of the Lord my God to do anything small or great.
