And Naaman went in and told his master, saying,“ Thus and thus said the girl who is from the land of Israel.”

Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said.

So Naaman went in and told his lord,“ Thus and so spoke the girl from the land of Israel.”

Someone went in, and told his lord, saying,“ The maiden who is from the land of Israel said this.”

Then they said to one another,“ We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king’s household.”So they went and called to the gatekeepers of the city, and told them, saying,“ We went to the Syrian camp, and surprisingly no one was there, not a human sound— only horses and donkeys tied, and the tents intact.”And the gatekeepers called out, and they told it to the king’s household inside.

However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him,“ Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”

For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;

The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men,“ Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”
