So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.

So Naaman went down to the Jordan River. He dipped himself in it seven times. He did exactly what the man of God had told him to do. Then his skin was made pure again. It became“ clean” like the skin of a young boy.

然後，他帶我回到聖殿的門口。有水正從殿的門檻往下流出來，向東流去，因為聖殿是朝東的。這水從殿的右邊，從祭壇的南邊下面流出來。他又帶我從北門出來，再領我從外面繞到朝東的外門。有水正從右邊流出來。那人手裡拿著一根準繩向東走出去的時候，量了五百公尺的距離，然後領我從水中走過去，那裡的水到了腳踝。他又量了五百公尺，然後領我從水中走過去，水到了膝蓋。他又量了五百公尺，然後領我走過去，水到了腰。他再量了五百公尺，水已成了一條河，以致我不能走過去，因為水勢高漲，成為只可供游泳的水，而不能走過去的河。他對我說：“人子啊！你看到了嗎？”他就領著我，帶我回到河邊。我回來以後，看見河這邊和那邊的岸上有很多樹木。他又對我說：“這水要向東方的地區流出去，下到亞拉巴，流入死海。這水流入死海，就使海裡的水變淡（“變淡”原文作“得醫治”）。那時，這河流過的地方，所有滋生的動物都可以存活。這水流到哪裡，哪裡就有許多魚；因為這河流到哪裡，海水就變淡，一切都可以存活。

“到那日，必有一個泉源，為大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民開放，洗除他們的罪惡和不潔。

他母親告訴僕人說：“他吩咐你們甚麼，就作甚麼。”

我的僕婢與我爭論的時候，我若輕視他們的案件，

他為我們捨己，為的是要救贖我們脫離一切不法的事，並且潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心善工。

一句話說得合宜，就像金蘋果鑲在銀的器物上。智慧人的責備在聽從的人耳中，好像金耳環和精金的飾物。

因著信，挪亞在還沒有看見的事上，得了神的警告，就動了敬畏的心，做了一艘方舟，使他全家得救。藉著這信心，他就定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那因信而來的義。因著信，亞伯拉罕在蒙召的時候，就聽命往他將要承受為業的地方去；他出去的時候，還不知道要往哪裡去。

第二天早晨，眾人清早起來，出發到提哥亞的曠野去；他們正出去的時候，約沙法站起來，說：“猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，你們要聽我的話；信靠耶和華你們的神，你們就必堅立；信靠他的先知，你們就必亨通。”

教導智慧人，他就越有智慧；指教義人，他就增加學問。
