大馬色之河、亞巴拿與法法、較之以色列地之水、豈非尤善、濯身於彼、豈不能成潔乎。遂怒欲歸。

大马士革的河亚罢拿和法珥法岂不比以色列的一切水更好吗？我在那里沐浴不得洁净吗？”于是气忿忿地转身去了。

大马士革的亚玛拿河和法珥法河岂不比以色列的一切水更好吗？我难道不可以在那里沐浴而得洁净吗？”于是他生气，转身走了。

大马士革的亚罢拿河和法珥法河，不是比以色列一切河流更好吗？我不是可以在那里沐浴，得着洁净吗？”于是他掉过头来，气忿忿地走了。

大馬士革的河亞罷拿和法珥法豈不比以色列的一切水更好嗎？我在那裏沐浴不得潔淨嗎？」於是氣忿忿地轉身去了。

大馬士革的亞瑪拿河和法珥法河豈不比以色列的一切水更好嗎？我難道不可以在那裏沐浴而得潔淨嗎？」於是他生氣，轉身走了。

大馬色之河、亞罷拿與法珥法、較以色列諸水、豈不尤佳乎、我不可浴於彼、而得潔乎、遂忿然反身而去、

大瑪色之河亞罷拿與法珥法、較以色列地諸水、豈不更美乎、我不可浴身於彼而得潔乎、於是轉身忿怒而去、

Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be cleansed?” So he turned and went off in a rage.

Are Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, not better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage.

乃慢曰、請以土壤、載於二騾、畀之於我、自今以後、我不獻燔祭禮物、事他上帝、惟奉耶和華而已。

以之擊水、曰、以利亞之上帝耶和華安在。復擊水分左右、以利沙過焉。

其人導我至殿門、其殿東向、門閾之下、水滃然以出、流於東方、由殿右壇南而來、遂導我出北門、折而至東門之外、見水出於右、執繩之人、往東量百丈、導我涉水、其水沒脛、又量百丈、導我涉水、其水沒膝、再量百丈、導我涉水、其水沒腰。又量百丈、其水成河、我不得濟、蓋水泛濫、可泅而不能涉矣。遂告我云、人子、爾見此乎、遂導我至河濱、見河左右、林木叢雜、其人告我云、此水流至東方、過野入海、海為之甘、

懲忿者為智、宥過者得譽。

是日活潑之泉、將湧於耶路撒冷、半向東海、半向西海、雖經冬夏而不涸、

以利亞摺衣擊水、水分左右、二人過之、若履陸地。
