一日，以利沙来到那里，就进了那楼躺卧。以利沙吩咐仆人基哈西说：“你叫这书念妇人来。”他就把妇人叫了来，妇人站在以利沙面前。

罗得切切地请他们，他们这才进去，到他屋里。罗得为他们预备筵席，烤无酵饼，他们就吃了。

她和她一家既领了洗，便求我们说：“你们若以为我是真信主的，请到我家里来住”；于是强留我们。
