Soon every container was full to the brim!“ Bring me another jar,” she said to one of her sons.“ There aren’t any more!” he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.

When all the jars were full, she said to her son,“ Bring me another one.” But he replied,“ There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son,“ Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her,“ There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased.

And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

They all ate as much as they wanted, and afterward, the disciples picked up twelve baskets of leftovers.

Then Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in front of the entire community of Israel, and he lifted his hands in prayer.Now Solomon had made a bronze platform 7 1/2 feet long, 7 1/2 feet wide, and 4 1/2 feet high and had placed it at the center of the Temple’s outer courtyard. He stood on the platform, and then he knelt in front of the entire community of Israel and lifted his hands toward heaven.

They all ate as much as they wanted. Afterward, the disciples picked up seven large baskets of leftover food.

And so he did only a few miracles there because of their unbelief.

Then he touched their eyes and said,“ Because of your faith, it will happen.”

But the man of God was angry with him.“ You should have struck the ground five or six times!” he exclaimed.“ Then you would have beaten Aram until it was entirely destroyed. Now you will be victorious only three times.”

After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples,“ Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.”

Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.

No manna appeared on the day they first ate from the crops of the land, and it was never seen again. So from that time on the Israelites ate from the crops of Canaan.

“ What?” his servant exclaimed.“ Feed a hundred people with only this?” But Elisha repeated,“ Give it to the people so they can eat, for this is what the Lord says: Everyone will eat, and there will even be some left over!”And when they gave it to the people, there was plenty for all and some left over, just as the Lord had promised.

For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: There will always be flour and olive oil left in your containers until the time when the Lord sends rain and the crops grow again!”
