A man from Baal Shalishah came, and brought the man of God some bread of the first fruits: twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. He said,“ Give to the people, that they may eat.”

A man came from Baal Shalishah, bringing the man of God twenty loaves of barley bread baked from the first ripe grain, along with some heads of new grain.“ Give it to the people to eat,” Elisha said.

A man came from Baal Shalishah. He brought the man of God 20 loaves of barley bread. They had been baked from the first grain that had ripened. The man also brought some heads of new grain.“ Give this food to the people to eat,” Elisha said.

A man came from Baal-shalishah, bringing the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And Elisha said,“ Give to the men, that they may eat.”

One day a man from Baal shalishah brought the man of God a sack of fresh grain and twenty loaves of barley bread made from the first grain of his harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people so they can eat.”

A man from Baal-shalishah came to the man of God with his sack full of twenty loaves of barley bread from the first bread of the harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people to eat.”

Now a man came from Baal shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh grain in his sack. And Elisha said,“ Give them to the people that they may eat.”

Then a man came from Baal Shalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain in his knapsack. And he said,“ Give it to the people, that they may eat.”

And there came a man from Baal- shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first- fruits, twenty loaves of barley, and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.

A man from Baal-shalishah came to the man of God with his sack full of 20 loaves of barley bread from the first bread of the harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people to eat.”

And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.

Now a man from Baal Shalisha brought some food for the prophet– twenty loaves of bread made from the firstfruits of the barley harvest, as well as fresh ears of grain. Elisha said,“ Set it before the people so they may eat.”

Then Saul said to his servant,“ But, behold, if we go, what should we bring the man? For the bread is spent in our sacks, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?”

He passed through the hill country of Ephraim, and passed through the land of Shalishah, but they didn’t find them. Then they passed through the land of Shaalim, and they weren’t there. Then he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they didn’t find them.

So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with broken pieces from the five barley loaves, which were left over by those who had eaten.

“ There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these among so many?”

If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your fleshly things?

Elisha came again to Gilgal. There was a famine in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant,“ Get the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

Elisha said,“ Hear Yahweh’s word. Yahweh says,‘ Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour will be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.’”

And the feast of harvest, the first fruits of your labors, which you sow in the field; and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when you gather in your labors out of the field.

butter from the herd, and milk from the flock, with fat of lambs, rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the finest of the wheat. From the blood of the grape, you drank wine.

He went down into Egypt, and lived there, few in number. There he became a great, mighty, and populous nation.The Egyptians mistreated us, afflicted us, and imposed hard labor on us.Then we cried to Yahweh, the God of our fathers. Yahweh heard our voice, and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression.Yahweh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, with great terror, with signs, and with wonders;and he has brought us into this place, and has given us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.Now, behold, I have brought the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, Yahweh, have given me.” You shall set it down before Yahweh your God, and worship before Yahweh your God.

The priests and the Levites who were in all Israel stood with him out of all their territory.For the Levites left their pasture lands and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem; for Jeroboam and his sons cast them off, that they should not execute the priest’s office to Yahweh.

But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.

But Jesus said to them,“ They don’t need to go away. You give them something to eat.”They told him,“ We only have here five loaves and two fish.”He said,“ Bring them here to me.”He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass; and he took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, broke and gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave to the multitudes.They all ate, and were filled. They took up twelve baskets full of that which remained left over from the broken pieces.Those who ate were about five thousand men, in addition to women and children.

Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase:so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

The people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to Yahweh’s word.The king appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to be in charge of the gate; and the people trampled over him in the gate, and he died as the man of God had said, who spoke when the king came down to him.It happened as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying,“ Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria;”

Jesus summoned his disciples and said,“ I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”The disciples said to him,“ Where should we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”Jesus said to them,“ How many loaves do you have?” They said,“ Seven, and a few small fish.”He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.They all ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.Those who ate were four thousand men, in addition to women and children.
