耶穌問他們：「你們有多少餅呢？」他們回答說：「七個。」耶穌就吩咐眾人坐在地上，於是拿起這七個餅，祝謝以後，掰開，不斷遞給他的門徒們，讓他們分發。門徒們就分給眾人；他們還有幾條小魚，耶穌祝福了，就吩咐把牠們也分給眾人。他們吃了，並且吃飽了。然後，他們把剩下的碎塊收拾起來，裝滿了七個筐子。當時約有四千人。耶穌遣散了他們，

耶穌就拿起餅來，祝謝以後，分給那些坐著的人，把魚也如此分了，他們要多少就給多少。

彼得叫大家都出去，然後跪下禱告，接著轉過身對著遺體，說：「塔比莎，你起來！」那婦人就睜開眼睛，看見彼得，而且坐了起來。

我的民哪，去吧！進入你的內室，關上身後的門，短暫地躲藏一會兒，等到耶和華的憤怒過去！

他們就譏笑耶穌。耶穌把他們都趕出去，只帶著孩子的父母和一起來的人，進入孩子所在的地方。

神能照著在我們裡面做工的大能，成就那遠超過我們所求所想的一切事——

但耶穌回答他們，說：「你們給他們吃的吧。」門徒們說：「要我們去買兩百個銀幣的餅給他們吃嗎？」耶穌問他們：「你們有多少餅呢？去看看。」他們察看後，就說：「有五個，還有兩條魚。」耶穌吩咐他們，叫眾人一組一組地坐在青草地上。眾人就一群一群地坐了下來，有的一百人，有的五十人。耶穌拿起這五個餅和兩條魚，抬頭望天，祝福了，然後把餅掰開，不斷遞給他的門徒們，讓他們分給眾人。他把兩條魚也分給大家。大家都吃了，並且吃飽了。他們把餅和魚的碎塊收拾起來，裝滿了十二個籃子。吃餅的人，男人就有五千。

至於你，你禱告的時候，要進入你的內室，關上門，向你在隱祕中的父禱告。這樣，你那在隱祕中察看的父就將回報你。

耶穌對僕人們說：「把這些缸裝滿水。」他們就裝滿了，直到缸沿。耶穌又對他們說：「現在舀出來，送去給管宴席的。」他們就送去了。當管宴席的嘗了那水變的酒，並不知道這是從哪裡來的，只有舀水的那些僕人知道。管宴席的就叫來新郎，
