And the sons of the prophets that were at Beth- el came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that Jehovah will take away thy master from thy head to- day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

And it came to pass, when Jehovah would take up Elijah by a whirlwind into heaven, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

Now Elisha had spoken unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thy household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for Jehovah hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at the Lord’s feet, and heard his word.

Jehovah will smite thee with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with fiery heat, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.Jehovah will make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors.

Jesus therefore saith unto them, Children, have ye aught to eat? They answered him, No.
