基哈西正在向王敘說以利沙怎樣叫死人復活時，恰巧以利沙救活其兒子的婦人為了自己的房屋和田地來向王哀叫。於是基哈西說：『我主我王，這就是那婦人，那有兒子、被以利沙救活的。』

有人正在埋葬一個死人，忽見一羣遊擊隊，就把死人丟在以利沙的墳墓裏，走了；死人一觸着以利沙的骸骨，就復活，起來站着。

彼得催迫眾人出去，就跪下禱告，轉身對屍體說：『大比大，起來！』那婦人就睜開眼睛，看見彼得、便坐起來。

永恆主聽了以利亞的聲音；孩子魂回，他就活了。

就上前去，按住抬床；抬的人就站住了。耶穌說：『青年人哪，我告訴你，起來！』死人就坐起來，說起話來了；耶穌便將他交給他母親。

以利沙曾對兒子被他救活的婦人說：『你要起身，你和你的家要往可寄居的地方去寄居；因為永恆主已呼喚饑荒，並且那饑荒必臨到此地七年之久。

說了這些話，就大聲嚷着說：『拉撒路，出來！』那死了的人就出來，腳和手綁着布條，臉上包着布巾。耶穌對他們說：『給他解開，放他走。』

她的靈便回來，她立時就起來了：耶穌吩咐要給她東西喫。
