婦曰、我豈求於我主、欲得子乎、我非曰勿誑我乎、

婦曰、我豈求主欲得子乎、我豈不云、毋欺我乎。

“ Did I ask you for a son, my lord?” she said.“ Didn’t I tell you,‘ Don’t raise my hopes’?”

“ My master, did I ask you for a son?” she said.“ Didn’t I tell you,‘ Don’t make me hope for something that won’t happen’?”

Then she said,“ Did I ask you for a son, my lord? And didn’t I say,‘ Don’t deceive me and get my hopes up’?”

Then she said,“ Did I ask my lord for a son? Didn’t I say,‘ Do not lie to me?’”

So she said,“ Did I ask a son of my Lord? Did I not say,‘ Do not deceive me’?”

Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

Then she said,“ Did I ask my lord for a son? Didn’t I say,‘ Do not deceive me?’”

Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

She said,“ Did I ask my master for a son? Didn’t I say,‘ Don’t mislead me?’”

Then she said,“ Did I ask you for a son, my lord? Didn’t I say,‘ Do not deceive me’?”

Then he said,“ At this season next year, you are going to embrace a son.” And she said,“ No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

Now when Rachel saw that she had not borne Jacob any children, she became jealous of her sister; and she said to Jacob,“ Give me children, or else I am going to die.”
