Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

妇人说：“我何尝向我主求过儿子呢？我岂没有说过，不要欺哄我吗？”

妇人说：“我何尝向我主求过儿子呢？我岂不是说过，不要欺哄我吗？”

妇人说：“我何尝向我主求过儿子呢？我岂不是说过，不要欺哄我吗？”

妇人说：“我何尝向我主求过儿子呢？我不是对你说不要骗我吗？”

她说：“我有向我主求过儿子吗？我不是说过：‘不要欺哄我’的吗？”

婦人說：「我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢？我豈沒有說過，不要欺哄我嗎？」

婦人說：「我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢？我豈不是說過，不要欺哄我嗎？」

婦人說：「我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢？我豈不是說過，不要欺哄我嗎？」

婦人說：「我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢？我不是對你說不要騙我嗎？」

她說：“我有向我主求過兒子嗎？我不是說過：‘不要欺哄我’的嗎？”

婦人說：『我何嘗向我主求過兒子呢？我豈沒有說過不要使我生起錯誤的盼望麼？』

婦曰、我豈求於我主、欲得子乎、我非曰勿誑我乎、

婦曰、我豈求主欲得子乎、我豈不云、毋欺我乎。

婦曰、我豈求我主欲得子乎、我豈不云勿欺我乎、

“ Did I ask you for a son, my lord?” she said.“ Didn’t I tell you,‘ Don’t raise my hopes’?”

“ My master, did I ask you for a son?” she said.“ Didn’t I tell you,‘ Don’t make me hope for something that won’t happen’?”

Then she said,“ Did I ask my lord for a son? Did I not say,‘ Do not deceive me?’”

Then she said,“ Did I ask you for a son, my lord? And didn’t I say,‘ Don’t deceive me and get my hopes up’?”

Then she said,“ Did I ask my lord for a son? Didn’t I say,‘ Do not lie to me?’”

Then she said,“ Did I ask for a son from my lord? Did I not say,‘ Do not give me false hope’?”

So she said,“ Did I ask a son of my Lord? Did I not say,‘ Do not deceive me’?”

Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

Then she said,“ Did I ask my lord for a son? Didn’t I say,‘ Do not deceive me?’”

She said,“ Did I ask my master for a son? Didn’t I say,‘ Don’t mislead me?’”

Then she said,“ Did I ask you for a son, my lord? Didn’t I say,‘ Do not deceive me’?”

And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord,[ thou] man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.

And when Rachel saw that she bare Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister; and said unto Jacob, Give me children, or else I die.
