丈夫說：「今日不是初一，也不是安息日，你為何要到他那裏去呢？」婦人說：「平安無事。」

雅各對他們說：「他平安嗎？」他們說：「平安。看哪，他女兒拉結和羊一起來了。」

撒母耳就把一切話都告訴以利，並沒有隱瞞。以利說：「他是耶和華，願他照他看為好的去做。」

以色列對他說：「你去看看你哥哥們是否平安，羊羣是否平安，再回來告訴我。」於是他派約瑟出希伯崙谷，約瑟就往示劍去了。

於是，摩西對亞倫說：「這就是耶和華所吩咐的，說：『我在那親近我的人中要顯為聖；在全體百姓面前，我要得着榮耀。』」亞倫就默默不言。

對他說：「你跑去告訴這個年輕人說，耶路撒冷必有人居住，如同無城牆的鄉村，因為其中的人和牲畜很多。

進他家時，要向那家請安。那家若配得平安，你們所求的平安就臨到那家；若不配得，你們所求的平安仍歸你們。
