過了些日子，保羅對巴拿巴說：「我們可以回到從前宣傳主道的各城，看望弟兄們景況如何。」

再拿這十塊奶餅，送給他們的千夫長，且問你哥哥們好，向他們要一封信來。」

丈夫說：「今日不是月朔，也不是安息日，你為何要去見他呢？」婦人說：「平安無事。」

因我所遭遇的是出於你，我就默然不語。

雅各說：「他平安嗎？」他們說：「平安。看哪，他女兒拉結領着羊來了。」

說：「我赤身出於母胎，也必赤身歸回；賞賜的是耶和華，收取的也是耶和華。耶和華的名是應當稱頌的。」在這一切的事上約伯並不犯罪，也不以神為愚妄。

撒母耳就把一切話都告訴了以利，並沒有隱瞞。以利說：「這是出於耶和華，願他憑自己的意旨而行。」

以色列說：「你去看看你哥哥們平安不平安，羣羊平安不平安，就回來報信給我」；於是打發他出希伯崙谷，他就往示劍去了。

於是摩西對亞倫說：「這就是耶和華所說：『我在親近我的人中要顯為聖；在眾民面前，我要得榮耀。』」亞倫就默默不言。

對他說：「你跑去告訴那少年人說，耶路撒冷必有人居住，好像無城牆的鄉村，因為人民和牲畜甚多。

進他家裏去，要請他的安。那家若配得平安，你們所求的平安就必臨到那家；若不配得，你們所求的平安仍歸你們。
