过了一些时候，保罗对巴拿巴说：“我们要回到我们传过主道的各城，探望弟兄们，好知道他们的情形怎么样。”

又拿这十块奶酪去给他们的千夫长，看看你的哥哥们平安不平安，把他们的家书带回来。”

他说：“为什么你要在今天去见他呢？今天既不是月朔，也不是安息日。”她说：“一切都平安。”

因为是你作了这事，我就静默不开口。

雅各又问他们：“他平安吗？”他们回答：“平安。你看，他的女儿拉结领着羊群来了。”

说：“我赤身出于母胎，也必赤身归去。赏赐的是耶和华，收回的也是耶和华；耶和华的名是应当称颂的。”在这一切事上，约伯并没有犯罪，也没有归咎于神。

于是撒母耳把一切话都告诉了以利，一句也没有隐瞒。以利说：“他是耶和华，他看怎么好，就怎么行吧。”

以色列对他说：“你去看看你的哥哥们是不是平安，羊群是不是平安，就回来告诉我。”于是打发他离开希伯仑谷，他就到示剑去了。

于是摩西对亚伦说：“这就是耶和华曾经告诉我们的，他说：‘在亲近我的人中，我要显为圣，在众人面前，我要得荣耀。’”亚伦就默然无语。

对他说：“你快跑去告诉那年轻人：‘耶路撒冷必有人居住，像没有城墙规限的田野，因为城中的人和牲畜很多。

到他家里的时候，要向他们问安；如果这家是配得的，你们的平安就必临到他们；如果这家不配得，你们的平安仍归你们。
