( and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), so that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.”

After this the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, became ill. And his illness was so severe that there was no breath left in him.

Bind on your turban, and put your shoes on your feet; do not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.”So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died. And on the next morning I did as I was commanded.

Now Israel loved Joseph more than any other of his sons, because he was the son of his old age. And he made him a robe of many colors.
