He said,“ About this time next year you will be holding a son.” She said,“ No, my master! O prophet, do not lie to your servant!”

以利沙说：“明年到这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人，我主啊，不要那样欺哄婢女。”

以利沙说：“明年这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人，我主啊，不要这样欺哄婢女。”

以利沙说：“明年这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人，我主啊，不要这样欺哄婢女。”

以利沙对她说：“明年这时候，你必抱一个儿子。”她说：“上帝的仆人，我主啊，不要骗我。”

以利沙说：“明年这个时分，时候到了，你必怀抱一个儿子。”她说：“神人哪！不要欺哄你的婢女。”

以利沙說：「明年到這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「神人，我主啊，不要那樣欺哄婢女。」

以利沙說：「明年這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「神人，我主啊，不要這樣欺哄婢女。」

以利沙說：「明年這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「神人，我主啊，不要這樣欺哄婢女。」

以利沙對她說：「明年這時候，你必抱一個兒子。」她說：「上帝的僕人，我主啊，不要騙我。」

以利沙說：“明年這個時分，時候到了，你必懷抱一個兒子。”她說：“神人哪！不要欺哄你的婢女。”

以利沙說：『到了日期，約在婦人懷孕滿期的時候、你就要抱兒子了。』婦人說：『我主神人哪，不會的；你別和婢女開玩笑啦。』

以利沙曰、歲月既周、至於此時、爾必抱子、曰、不然、我主上帝僕歟、勿誑爾婢、

以利沙曰、明年屆期、爾必誕育。曰、我主、上帝之僕與、毋欺爾婢。

以利沙曰、明年斯時、爾必抱一子、曰、神人我主歟、請勿如是言、勿欺爾婢、

“ About this time next year,” Elisha said,“ you will hold a son in your arms.”“ No, my lord!” she objected.“ Please, man of God, don’t mislead your servant!”

“ You will hold a son in your arms,” Elisha said.“ It will be about this time next year.”“ No, my master!” she objected.“ You are a man of God. So please don’t lie to me!”

And he said,“ At this season, about this time next year, you shall embrace a son.” And she said,“ No, my lord, O man of God; do not lie to your servant.”

“ Next year at this time you will be holding a son in your arms!”“ No, my lord!” she cried.“ O man of God, don’t deceive me and get my hopes up like that.”

Elisha said,“ At this time next year you will have a son in your arms.” Then she said,“ No, my lord. Man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

Then he said,“ At this season next year, you are going to embrace a son.” And she said,“ No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

Then he said,“ About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And she said,“ No, my Lord. Man of God, do not lie to your maidservant!”

And he said, At this season, when the time cometh round, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thy handmaid.

Elisha said,“ At this time next year you will have a son in your arms.” Then she said,“ No, my lord. Man of God, do not deceive your servant.”

And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord,[ thou] man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.

He said,“ At this season, when the time comes around, you will embrace a son.” She said,“ No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your servant.”

One of them said,“ I will surely return to you when the season comes round again, and your wife Sarah will have a son!”( Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, not far behind him.

She said,“ Did I ask my master for a son? Didn’t I say,‘ Don’t mislead me?’”

But I will establish my covenant with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this set time next year.”

I will bless her and will give you a son through her. I will bless her and she will become a mother of nations. Kings of countries will come from her!”Then Abraham bowed down with his face to the ground and laughed as he said to himself,“ Can a son be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Can Sarah bear a child at the age of ninety?”

But the angel said to him,“ Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son; you will name him John.

She asked Elijah,“ Why, prophet, have you come to me to confront me with my sin and kill my son?”

So the angel said to her,“ Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God!Listen: You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.

So Sarah laughed to herself, thinking,“ After I am worn out will I have pleasure, especially when my husband is old too?”The LORD said to Abraham,“ Why did Sarah laugh and say,‘ Will I really have a child when I am old?’Is anything impossible for the LORD? I will return to you when the season comes round again and Sarah will have a son.”Then Sarah lied, saying,“ I did not laugh,” because she was afraid. But the LORD said,“ No! You did laugh.”

Zechariah said to the angel,“ How can I be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is old as well.”The angel answered him,“ I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news.And now, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time, you will be silent, unable to speak, until the day these things take place.”

Elisha sent out a messenger who told him,“ Go and wash seven times in the Jordan; your skin will be restored and you will be healed.”Naaman went away angry. He said,“ Look, I thought for sure he would come out, stand there, invoke the name of the LORD his God, wave his hand over the area, and cure the skin disease.

I rashly declared,“ All men are liars.”

Obadiah said,“ What sin have I committed that you are ready to hand your servant over to Ahab for execution?

The men of the city said to Elisha,“ Look, the city has a good location, as our master can see. But the water is bad and the land doesn’t produce crops.”
