摩西領着以色列人從蘆葦海往前行；他們出去到書珥的曠野，在曠野走了三天，找不着水。

從亞錄往前行，就在利非訂紮營；在那裏人民沒有水喝。

就說壞話攻擊上帝和摩西說：『你們為甚麼把我們從埃及領上來，讓我們死在這曠野呢？這裏沒有食物、沒有水；這淡薄的食物，我們的胃口都憎厭了。』
