因為耶和華這樣說：‘你們雖然沒有看見風，也沒有看見雨，但這山谷必充滿了水，你們和你們的牲畜都可以有水喝。

蓋耶和華云、爾不見風、亦不見雨、水必盈於斯谷、爾及牲畜飲之、

雖無風雨、水必盈於斯谷、使爾及牲畜咸飲。

蓋主如是云、雖不見風、亦不見雨、水必充滿此谷、使爾及牲畜有所飲、

For this is what the Lord says: You will see neither wind nor rain, yet this valley will be filled with water, and you, your cattle and your other animals will drink.

This will happen because the Lord says,‘ You will not see wind or rain. But this valley will be filled with water. Then you, your cattle and your other animals will have water to drink.’

For thus says the Lord,‘ You shall not see wind or rain, but that streambed shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, you, your livestock, and your animals.’

You will see neither wind nor rain, says the Lord, but this valley will be filled with water. You will have plenty for yourselves and your cattle and other animals.

For the LORD says,‘ You will not see wind or rain, but the wadi will be filled with water, and you will drink— you and your cattle and your animals.’

For the Lord says this:‘ You will not see wind, nor will you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you will drink, you, your livestock, and your other animals.

For thus says the Lord:‘ You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’

For thus saith Jehovah, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, and ye shall drink, both ye and your cattle and your beasts.

For the Lord says,‘ You will not see wind or rain, but the wadi will be filled with water, and you will drink— you and your cattle and your animals.’

for this is what the LORD says,‘ You will not feel any wind or see any rain, but this valley will be full of water and you and your cattle and animals will drink.’

For Yahweh says,‘ You will not see wind, neither will you see rain, yet that valley will be filled with water, and you will drink, both you and your livestock and your other animals.

他使曠野變為池塘，使旱地變為水泉。

困苦和貧窮的人尋求水，卻沒有水；他們的舌頭因口渴而乾燥；我耶和華必應允他們，我以色列的神必不離棄他們。我要在光禿的高處開闢江河，在山谷之間開闢泉源；我要使曠野變為水池，使乾地變成水泉。

“看哪！我要作一件新的事；現在它要發生了，難道你們還不知道嗎？我要在曠野開一條道路，在荒地開挖江河。野地的走獸必尊重我，野狗和鴕鳥也必這樣，因為我使曠野有水，使荒地有江河，好使我揀選的子民有水喝，

他們經過乾旱的山谷，使這谷變為泉源之地，更有秋雨使這谷到處都是水池。

耶和華領他們走過荒野的時候，他們並不乾渴；他為他們使水從磐石流出來。他裂開磐石，水就湧出來。

看哪，我必在何烈山那裡的磐石上站在你面前；你要擊打磐石，就必有水從磐石流出來，使人民可以喝。”摩西就在以色列的長老眼前這樣行了。

“你要拿著杖，和你的哥哥亞倫聚集會眾，在他們眼前，吩咐磐石出水；這樣你就可以使磐石流出水來，給會眾和他們的牲畜喝。”於是，摩西照著耶和華吩咐他的，從耶和華面前拿了杖去。摩西和亞倫聚集了會眾到磐石面前；摩西對他們說：“悖逆的人哪，你們要聽，我們為你們使水從磐石中流出來嗎？”摩西舉手，用杖擊打磐石兩次，就有很多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。

到了獻晚祭的時候，以利亞先知近前來，說：“亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神耶和華，求你今天使人知道你是在以色列中的神，我是你的僕人，又是奉你的命令行這一切事。耶和華啊，求你應允我，應允我！使這民知道你耶和華是神，又知道是你使這民的心再回轉過來的。”於是有耶和華的火降下來，吞滅了燔祭、木柴、石頭和塵土，連溝裡的水也燒乾了。眾人看見了，就面伏於地，說：“耶和華是神！耶和華是神！”
